I opened my eyes only to see nothing
I see nothing but darkness
I tried to hold on to something
But I cannot feel anything
I tried to call out to someone
Again and again I cry out
But then I realize that there is no one
I stopped and gave up
Thoughts run wild on my mind
Useless, senseless things like that
I kept on thinking and worrying
But only one word remained
I stared back into nothingness
One by one tears dropped
This feeling that keeps on lingering
Is called emptiness
