"Ever day is a new chapter in life."

Melody was new to the small town, moved there after highschool, seeing her mom kicked her out, it was hard being on her own, barely making enough to get gas some days so she would walk, singing and playing her guitar, hoping someone would give her a few dollars and eventually someone did.

~ Flashback ~

It had been a warm afternoon in the small town, the singer had only 10 dollars to her name so she decided to save gas and walk around, singing her heart out while strumming the chords of her guitar, many passed, giving her smiles and nods but one person decided to do more than that, her name was Leslie Knope, proud citizen who worked at the rec center for the small town, stopping to tell her how amazing she was and told her how good she would be at the office, making people's day by singing to them, of course the teen accepted and jotted down her number.

~ End of flashback~

It was now her first day of work and she was utterly excited! Getting dressed in a green day band-shirt and some ripped jeans and her favorite combat boots and threw some makeup on, wanting to look great she even braided her long orange locks of hair and headed out, reaching the place she was greeted by the Leslie who introduced her to everyone, getting some nods and waves hut there was one guy who stood out. "Who's that?" She asked softly, gazing at the guy shining shoes. "Oh! That's Andy!" Mel nodded, wandering over on her own, hopping up on the stand and waited her turn. "Oh cool! Another customer! How are you?" Andy asked with a adorable smile. "I'm great, I'm Melody! New intern I guess." The male high fived her when the other guy left. "That's so cool! I'm not alone now!" His attitude made her giggle, this was someone who she would definitely like!
