I'm not counting these weekly visits as chapters. They are REALLY SHORT! don't complain because I warned you... Chapter 11 will be the next chapter. But these week things are very important. Don't skip them just because they're short - you will be confused in the next real chapter!
Liza's POV
Doctor Strickland tells me about David's progress.
"We've removed all of the bone fragments from David's feet muscle. Screws have been installed in his foot, as has some fake bone. His ribs have been screwed in place, and his lungs are healing nicely"
"When do you think he'll come out of his coma?"
"I... I'm not sure... just remember there's not a guarantee. If all goes well, he can be out in around two months."
"Two months? Two freaking months?"
"Miss Koshy, he suffered severe damage. We can't let him go without knowing that everything is final."
"I understand. thank you."
WEEK 2:
David's lungs are healing steadily. The doctor say his foot and ribs will be healed by week 4. I'm so happy. It doesn't look like I'll have to pull the plug. I'm laying on the floor in my bedroom
Like I said, these will be really short. Not all of them will have dialogue. Thx for ticking with this! I'll probably finish the weeks next post. I might also just fast forward. Comment what you'd rather see - super short, not descriptive "chapters", or just skip the weeks and go straight to the next real chapter.
