Chapter 16

*CAMS POV*

Sam told me that before WE could be a thing or something she had to tell Nash everything first. I walked back in derrick's to see him, still sitting on his bed, playing halo now. I resumed back to where I was sitting before, and continued playing with him. We talked about school and then Derick brought up one question I didn't want to talk about...Girls. And the only girl I had my mind on, was in her room doing who knows what. Derick was saying how he really likes this girl named Martha and how,not only does he think she is pretty, but cool,athletic, and is a beautiful singer. When he asked me who I liked, I suddenly felt like I was 12 again, but I just told him a girl that has lunch period with me, Hey!, it wasn't a lie. He tried to get more out if me but I'm just said she is athletic and sings too, I also told him not to worry,it's not Martha.

The conversation got awkward for me 'cause the only girl I really liked was down the hall. I decided to leave. When I got in the hall I heard a door open, knowing it was Sam I just kept walking. I regretted that when I heard her say my name, she probably thought I was a bastard. I stopped and turned around.

"What? You were just gonna leave without saying goodbye?" She said laughing a little

"Uh ya..sorry. I forgot to say goodbye to you." I said throwing in a little chuckle.

She laughed "it's ok." Then she smiled and said,"I just wanted to tell you...that...um... I told Nash that I couldn't do any date thing with him. And that...um.. That I liked you."

I couldn't help myself, she was just standing there looking pretty,as always, and to actually hear her say that she liked me. I couldn't resist. I kissed her. I had to. I liked her and she just said she liked me. She doesn't like Nash, she likes me. That made me happy,so happy I just HAD to kiss her.

"So" I said when we pulled apart, smiling 'cause of how happy I was. "Wanna spend the night together? I don't feel like going home."
We both laughed

"Ya sure."

"Ok" I said kissing her cheek, still smiling. Then went back up to derick's room.

I was so happy. She said she liked me and now we are spending the night together. I know that kinda makes us sound like we are five years old, but I'm too happy to care. I'm too happy to go home. I had to stay there. I had to spend the night there.

"Hey man." Derick said as I entered his room, then sat down on the floor. "I thought you were leaving?"

"I was, but then I thought that there was nothing to do at my house. So I just decided to stay here. That ok with you?" I say laughing a little.

"Ya sure. Oh and dude, by the way, you are a terrible lier." Derick said.

"What? I don't know what your talk-"

He cut me off

"You found out Sam likes you. Didn't you?"

"How did you know?" I asked

"First I can tell by the way she looks at you. second, she talks about you ALL the time. third, I heard you guys in the hallway."

We both laugh

"So let me guess. The first two things were a lie?" I asked

"Ya pretty much" he said still laughing to him self.

Then we continued playing halo.

Hey guys! sorry I haven't been posting in awhile. Just wanted to say I'm prob not gonna post anything until like the 12th of May. 'Cause my data on my phone is almost up and it ends on the 9th and I'm busy that weekend so ya. That's it sorry!
