Chapter 1 - Myth and Fall

"McAllister, Myth Fall L." Tumunghay ako mula sa pagkakaubob ng marinig ko ang pangalan ko. I hate this. Giving of f*cking cards. Nagpunta nalang ako sa harap at kinuha ang card ko. Papaalis na sana ako pero tinawag ulit ako ng teacher.

"Ms. McAllister, kalian mo ba aayusin ang pag-aaral mo?" said the old bastard in front of me. Hah! Sino ba 'to para kwestyunin ako? Humarap ako sakanya at tinaasan siya ng kilay. Nagulat siya sa ginawa ko but hey, I've been a bitch since I stepped in this school.

"Kailan mo ba ititikom yang  bibig mo?" pang-aasar ko sakaniya. Nanlaki ang mata niya at halatang nagpipigil ng galit. Magalit ka lang sakin. He's really mad at konting pitik nalang sasabog na 'to.

"DETENTION!!!!" 'yan. Sinabi niya narin ang magic word. My favorite place where I can sleep peacefully.

"Thank you, bye." I grabbed one detention slip then leave, their mouths wide open while I casually made my way out.

This is Myth Fall McAllister. A bitch, rude little girl.

Detention...

Halos umalingawngaw ang tunog ng pintuan sa lakas ng pagkakasipa ko. Everyone in the room stilled and stared at me. Eto ang ayoko eh, people's attention. Ugh. I just rolled my eyes at them then went straight to my usual corner. Napansin kong hindi parin sila tumutuloy sa ginagawa nila. What's wrong with these freaking students?!

"Got a problem?!" sigaw ko sakanila. Their eyes were wide as they shook their head vigorously. Di ko nalang sila pinansin. I don't want to waste my time staring at their unpleasant face. I sat and laid my head on the armchair. I shut my eyes and soon, I fell asleep.

Hours Later...

"Fall." Naramdaman 'kong may umaalog sa balikat ko.

Who the hell is this?

"Fall."

Inaantok pa ako. Sino ba kasi 'to?!

"Five minutes Ma," sambit ko. Wait... What did I say? Ma? Sino ba 'tong pesteng nang-gugulo ng pagtulog ko?!

Inis akong tumingala at tinignan ng masama ang gumigising sakin.

Ang magaling ko palang kuya.

"Pwede ba, wag mo 'kong tatawaging Fall?" sabi ko at sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Umubob ulit ako pero nagsalita nanaman ang b*llsht kong kapatid.

"Oh come on, Myth! Ilang oras ka ng nandito sa detention at natutulog. How about your studies?"

Studies...blah...blah...blah. That's b*llsht.

"I don't f*cking care about my studies! Could you please shut up and leave me alone?" naiinis na ako dahil hindi pa maayos ang tulog ko. And here comes my beloved brother, ruining my peaceful sleep. How nice of him.

"You hard-headed 'lil girl. I'll pick you up later. Wag kang tatakas." Narinig kong sabi niya. I felt him pat my head, and then he left. Hah! as if sasama ako sa kaniya. I don't really like him when he does that. Ano ako bata? Geez, I'm barely sixteen!
