Chapter 16

Ananya pov:

It's my engagement day. I didn't even sleep properly. Many questions are roaming in my mind .The function will start around 10Am. I decided to go to Temple and pray for the best to happen.

I took a fresh shower .I wore a salwar kamez and I went downstairs. I saw my Dad who was busy with his phone. He was talking about the arrangements.

I took my car keys and turned back to leave.

"Where are you going Ananya?",
My dad asked me.

"I'm going to Temple.",I said.

"Are you crazy ?Your Engagement ceremony is going to be started in few hours and now you are going outside. Why are you doing like this? ",He shouted at me.

"Don't shout . I'll come with in half an hour .", I said and left the place.

I started driving my car.It was around 7 o'clock in the morning so there is no traffic.

Soon I reached temple I went inside and prayed to God. I always prefer to go to Temple when I'm upset.

Last time I met Arjun in a temple.
Every girl will get a chance to choose her lifepartner .But unfortunately I didn't have any option to choose. A sad smile came on my face thinking about my journey with Arjun.

My phone started ringing. It was Naina.

"where are you Andy? ",She asked me.

"Temple.", I replied.

"Your Dad is waiting for you. So please come fast.",She said.

"I'm on the way.",I said and disconnected the call. I went back to the mansion.

The mansion is fully decorated with flowers . It looks really beautiful. People are busy with their own work.

I went inside and I saw Naina who was setting everything for engagement.

I went to her." Andy you are late",
She said. I smiled at her.

"Why are you smiling now? Soon they will be here and you are still in salwar kamez.", She said.

"I'll get ready.", I said. 

"I'll help you", she said that took me straight into my room.

She asked me to change my dress. I took a blue colour lehenga and went to washroom. It fitted me very well. I came out of washroom.

"Andy You look stunning. Blue always suits you.",She said. I smiled at her.

She asked me to sit infront of mirror. I wore my necklace and  bangels.

"Nania I don't want to apply any makeup", I said pushing her hand away .

"Andy you look really pretty. But makeup gives you additional attraction.", She said and started applying lipstick and other things.
Finally she succeeded in making me look beautiful.

"Andy you look really beautiful. Arjun will definitely fall for you.", She said.

I raised my eyebrows and gave her a fake smile.

" I'm sorry Ananya.", She said.

"It's fine.",I said. She hugged me tightly and said not to get worried.

"Naina I want to talk to Rahul.",I said.

"Why?", She asked me.

"I didn't even informed him about my engagement. He will get upset", I said.
