SnowBarry: Quite the pair...

"Wally? Can you run me there? I might be able to stop him!" Caitlin asked Wally.
"I don't know.... he might want to do this" Wally stuttered out.
"But I want to try and stop him! The more time we spend debating the less time we have to stop him!" Caitlin yelled, desperately trying to convince Wally that they should stop him. Wally had no idea what to do, he knows what it's like in the speed force and wouldn't wish it on anyone, but he also knows not to question Barry's decisions. Maybe it was time for Barry to stop running, to finally rest after everything that has happened, maybe this was his destiny.
"Guys, have you stopped to think, that maybe this is Barry's fate?" Wally questioned them all.
"Well it shouldn't be!" Caitlin screamed before running out.

Caitlin sat in the workshop, staring at the first design for Barry's cowl. Remembering all the fun times they had during the first year of know each other, she smiled. Then she remembered that night at the Karaoke bar, well parts of it anyway. She remembered how they sang together, how he cared for her when she was drunk. How he stayed with her until she fell asleep. She cherished every memory of him, knowing that she'll never see him again.

Barry stared at the portal, ready to leave, when he heard black flash, he closed his eyes to prepare for what was next. Out of nowhere, he heard Caitlin's voice call for him and so he opened his eyes and turned around. There she was, Caitlin, in tears, Barry didn't know what to say, so he stayed silent and walked over to her. Cupping her cheeks, he kissed her, as he started to cry. Finally he managed to stutter out "I have to go.... I need you to tell me it's ok".
She looked up at him, memorising every little detail, as she knew this would be the last time that she would see him. With a tear trickling down her face, she replied with "Barry.... it's ok". She looked down as Barry walked away.

Barry looked at Caitlin, as he felt that he'd never see her again, then stepped closer to the portal. He closed his eyes once again and took a breath. One last time, he heard Black Flash and then, felt a hand on his arm. In one swift motion, he was pulled into the speed force. The Flash..... Barry Allen.... was gone.
