i stood there watching you walking towards me.
i forget to breathe, and my heart skipped a beat.
i looked into your dark grey eyes as they watched mine.
but you just walked away without saying a word.
leaving me all alone stunned by your reaction.
do you remember?
when we were together,
you used to make me laugh with your silly jokes.
you held me in your arms when i was sad and broken.
you were always by my side to help me.
but you didn't open the door to let me in.
instead, you opened the window to look straight into your heart.
you do have feelings.
not for me but for her.
it hurts,
when i see you cuddle with her.
it hurts so much,
when you kiss her lips passionately.
deep inside it kills me.
but all i can do is save my heart before it falls apart.
you were the reason behind my smiles, and now, you're the reason why i cry.
as time passed by, i didn't care about you anymore, because i'm fine with a glass of wine.
