Asriel returned from the market four hours later, his arms heavy with bags and boxes of clothes he had bought. As he opened the door, he saw Glace talking with Flae, the ice-type sounding congested. "This is Asriel; he is the healer that is letting us stay with him while you heal," Flae told her sister. "Thank you, sir, for letting me and my sister stay with-," Glace said before she sneezed; Asriel had to sidestep an ice spike being shot his way, his eyes wide. "It is no problem; I can't send you and your sister away, even if I wanted to; 'it is the duty of a healer to heal the sick and mend the broken,'" Asirel said, quoting something his master used to say when he was alive. As he went to set all his bags on the table, Asriel asked Flae if she would help him with sorting the clothes. "What clothes?" Glace asked, confused. "I am sorry to say, but I had to cut your cloak off of you; it was all but frozen to you. I bought you a replacement cloak and travel clothes for you and Flae," Asriel explained to her with a kind smile.

"But how will we pay you? We have no coin as it is to pay for the medicine," Glace fretted, her ocean blue eyes filled with worry. "Don't worry; I do this for free. I help those in need," Asriel replied with a kind smile, folding some shirts as he spoke. "But sir-," Glace started to protest, but he silenced her. "I know you won't believe me, but I have the coin to spare. I am the sole heir to my late master's fortune and lands," Asriel explained, giving a respectful smile at his master's memory. "Who is- was your master?" Flae asked.

"My master was Draco Lighttouch," Asriel replied, his eyes shining with tears; he missed his master deeply, entering a flashback.

When his parents were killed and his sister having abandoned him for the local magic school and using all of the inheritance to get her a spot, Asriel was forced to wander the streets as a Riolu, slowly dying; the emotional pain was too much for him to take as a child. He lived on the streets, begging for coin and using it to buy food when he could anyway. On one fateful day, Asriel looked up to see a Lucario standing there, the stranger's eyes soft with kindness as he knelt down to the tiny pup. "What is your name?" he had said. "Asriel," the Riolu had said, his voice raspy and thick with tears. "Please, come with me," the Lucario said, holding his arms open for the Riolu. "Who are you?" Asriel asked, wavering on his paws. Looking at the Riolu in surprise, the Lucario smiled. "My name is Draco Lighttouch, young one. How would you like to be my apprentice?" the Lucario offered to the dirt covered Riolu. Asriel all but cried hysterically as he ran to the Lucario's arms. That was the day that Asriel's life had changed.

"The very Draco that all but brought the kings son back from the dead?" Flae asked, her voice high with disbelief. "Aye," Asriel said, his body shaking, remembering how his master had died, the scene carved in his mind; there was not a day that Asriel felt like he could have healed his master. 'If only I were a better apprentice,' Asriel thought, tears falling as he gripped the cloth in his paws tightly. Taking that as a sign for no more questions, Flae and Glace fell silent for a while. "What is in the boxes?" Glace asked, her tone curious. "A gift from me to you two, and a request. The jaral will be hosting a ball and has given me a personal invite to it, as well as two guests with me. The ball will be in four day's time, and I was wondering if you two wanted to go with me," Asriel said, smiling through the tears as Flae opened the boxes; she let out a gasp of surprise. "This is silk," Flae said, her expression shocked as she looked at Asriel; silk was the most expensive of all cloth, and a dress would cost a workers life fortune to get his or her paws on. "There is no way we can accept them!" Glace cried, her face pale with shock as she shook her head. "Don't worry; the tab is covered anyway," Asriel replied with a faint blush, sharing one with Flae; Glace groaned.

"Really Flae? Really? Did you have to bed him?" Glace asked, her own face blushing with embarrassment.
