You rushed back to work. Lunch had been enjoyable but something about it had seemed...weird.

He had called it a "meeting" but still you were unsure of what to actually call the whole thing...

Soon it was time to leave after work and you walked to the elevator.

On your way, you passed by Mr. Stan's office.

"(Y/N)!" he suddenly shouted after you and you turned and walked to the doorway.

"Yes, Mr. Stan?" you asked.

"Will you be attending the banquet on Friday at 7? It's for everyone who works here," he asked.

"Oh. it's the first time i've heard of this...but of course i will be there," you replied with a smile.

"Okay. make sure to get the word around and to remind people about it. Remind everyone that it is a formal occasion as well," he instructed.

"Okay. Is that all?" you asked.

He hesitated before answering, "Yes," and you walked away, wondering what the hesitation was for.

It was 6:30 on Friday night, and you still couldn't find your red heels. You had already done your makeup, and you were wearing a shimmery silver dress. You decided to go with your black heels and walked out of your bedroom.

By now you and kelly were no longer mad at each other and she looked up when you entered the kitchen.

She whistled at you and you laughed.

"I really wish you could come..." you said sadly, walking up to her.

"It's okay. Now you can have time to hang out with that boss of yours," kelly grinned and you just rolled your eyes, "Come on...i know you like him..."

"No i dont...just because i find him very attractive doesn't mean i like him," you denied, shaking your head.

"Whatever you say," Kelly shrugged.

"Well...i'm going to go now. i will see you later," you said.

"bye," kelly winked and you left the apartment.

you arrived at the place of the banquet; it was huge. you walked in after they checked to make sure that you were on the list. People were scattered everywhere, and suddenly you saw Mr. Stan. He was talking and laughing with a group of people and suddenly he turned his head and noticed you.

His eyes widened and he began to walk over to you.

"Hello, (y/n). i must say that you look very lovely tonight," he said, giving your hand a kiss.

"Thank you. You look rather handsome," you replied, and he looked much more than that.

He was wearing a black suit and you must say...he looked sexy.

He led you to his group of friends and introduced you and after talking with them for a while, the two of you sat down at a table and soon everyone began to sit.

A waiter came by with champagne and filled up our glasses, and Mr. Stan immediately gulped it all down.

You pretended not to notice how many times the waiter filled up his glass during the meal and how his words began to slur after a while.

"Um...Mr. Stan? i think you've had enough of that champagne," you stopped his arm as he was putting another glass to his lips.

"Who are you to tell me what to do? i can control my drinking just fine, thank you very much," he said, removing your hand and taking another drink.

When a waiter came by again, you told them not to refill Mr. Stan's empty cup and they nodded their head. Mr. Stan hiccuped and you looked over at him strangely. He let out a small laugh, enlightenment in his gorgeous eyes.

The dinner continued to go on and there was a speech, and soon it was all over and people began to leave. You and Mr. Stan stood up and began to walk, except he was very tipsy.

"I am not letting you drive home," you said firmly.

"Why not? I feel fine," he said drowsily, swinging his keys around in his hands.

You grabbed his keys from him and he tried to get them back but he didn't have enough balance and stumbled.

"Do you remember where you parked?" you asked.

"N-n-nope," he stuttered, and you rolled your eyes.

You took his arm and guided him out of the building and turned on the car alarm until the two of you found the car.

He started to open up the door to drive, but you said, "Nope. You're in the passenger seat."

He huffed and used the car to guide him as he walked over to the passenger seat. You hopped into the driver's seat and started the car as he hopped in.

"Give me your wallet," you ordered.

"Is this really necessary?" he mumbled.

"I can always search you for it..." you said.

"I wouldn't mind," he grinned and you sighed at his playful stubbornness.

"Just please give it to me," you said.

"Fine, fine," he reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet and handed it to you.

"Thank you," you said, and looked for his address.

Once you had found it, you typed it into the GPS and pulled out of the parking spot.
