Part 19

The next few weeks you continued the cold shoulder. You ignored Sebastian unless it related to work, and you refused to let him get anywhere near you.

It was the weekend and Kelly went out with her boyfriend so you were at the house by yourself. You were just sitting in your apartment when there was a knock on the door. You rolled your eyes and stood up, walking to get the door.

You opened it up without checking to see a familiar girl standing in your doorway.

Then you realized...it was the girl that Sebastian had cheated on you with.

You were about to shut the door when she stopped you.

"I need to talk to you," she said.

"What could you possibly talk to me about?" you asked bitterly.

"It involves what happened a few weeks ago...can i come in?" she asked, and you opened your door and gestured.

She walked in and you closed the door behind you. She took a seat at the table in the kitchen and you followed.

"would you like anything to drink?" you asked.

"no thanks," she replied, and you took a seat across from her.

"So what would you like to talk about?" you asked.

"So a few weeks ago i was at the bar and i saw Sebastian...." she began.

"I don't want to hear it," you interrupted, "did sebastian send you?"

"No- he doesn't know i'm here...just let me talk," she said.

"fine," you replied.

"So a few weeks ago i was at the bar and i saw sebastian...i thought he was attractive so i decided to buy him some drinks in hope of getting him drunk. Sure enough he was drunk a while later, and i took him to the back of the bar to make out. he resisted me after a kiss and left the bar...but i chased after him and insisted on taking him home. i took him back to his apartment and invited myself in...where i took him to his room and pulled him onto his bed with me. He resisted for a while but i finally got him where i wanted him..." she explained.

"Why are you telling me this?" you asked.

"Because...he was drunk, (y/n), and i took advantage of him! he didn't know what he was doing, don't you see? I didn't know he was dating you otherwise i would've never done that...but still...it's been eating me up inside ever since it happened...and i thought i'd stop by to explain so maybe you would forgive him..." Kayla said.

lThank you for telling me," you said, staring off and thinking about her words.

"Oh yeah and i have one more thing to say...Sebastian misses you. He's been getting drunk every night because he doesn't want to deal with the pain. He looks absolutely horrible.....Well i'm going to leave now...i hope you will think about what i said..." Kayla said, getting up and getting out of your apartment, leaving you pondering her words.
