Lance's POV

I swam around an island picking up shells I see a red shell I swam towards it and almost grabbed it. I put my small hand on but * play Ocean Breeze * another small hand landed on mine. I gasped i looked at the hand it was pale my little blue tail flicked. I gulped nervously as I pop my head outta the water "Hi..." I said. The kid had black hair and grayish - purple eyes he blinked and gulped "A-A Merperson..." he said shocked. I looked down "I'll leave if you want..." I said I move my hand away from the shell but he gripped it.

" Wow!! Your hands are clammy!!!" He said smiling I blushed "R-Really?" I shuttered. I look behind him to see wings still pretty small "Your an avian???" I asked. He nodded "Yea...My step brother Shiro is watching over me...he went to get food..." said The boy. My blue eyes widen "So your alone??" I asked getting out of the ocean a bit he nodded I smiled. I look in his hands to see a blue shell "OOOOO!!" I said looking at the shell. He must have noticed the blue shell was the same size and shape as the red one.

I push myself back into the water and got the Red shell came back up "Hey! Here!" I said. He blinked and pulled out the blue shell I smiled we both put the shells to together. They were the same just different colors I blushed from what mommy told me the same shell but different colors mean something...I thought. The boy saw me "You ok??" He asked I nodded I gasped "I'll be back!!" I said diving into the water and grabbed two strings floating about. I swam back to the boy and showed him the strings "Huh?" He asked "I'm gonna make a bracelet and necklace ok?" I said. He nodded "But I need your blue shell." I said he gave me the shell.

When I was done I gave him the bracelet with the blue shell he blushed "T-Thank You..." he said. I smiled "PRINCE!!!" Yelled a voice "Oh I gotta go! " I said swimming away from the island I was wearing the red shell necklace as I swam away. * stop ocean breeze *

I open my eyes that's only a thing of the past...I thought on my bed soon my dolphin friend, Leah swam by. "Heya Leah..." I said she squeaked "* sigh *Nothing...Just a memory...." I said. I swam around my sea home "Huh? Where is the shell???" I asked Leah shrugged I shook my head "YOU CAN SHRUG?!" I yelled. Leah nodded "WHAAAAAAA?!!?!! " I yelled "LANCE QUIET!!!" Yelled my sister, Maria. "YOU QUIET!!!" I yelled "NO YOU BE QUIET!!!" Yelled Maria for some weird reason me and Maria could never get along unlike my other sister whose the oldest, Novia.

I can get long with my older brother, Marco but never Maria probably because of her b!tchyness. "Lance???" said Marco he's more timid "Yea?" I said swimming over to him. His scales are a midnight blue "I-I F-Found T-This.." he said showing my red shell necklace. I gasped "THANK YOU RIEL!!" I yelled grabbing my necklace and hugging Marco. I swam out flipping Maria Off "LANC-" she was cut of by mom. I bumped into Veronica "Hola Lance." Said Veronica "Hola Novia." I said "You heading out????" Asked Veronica I nodded "Bring Hunk or Pidge. A lot of Mermen have gone missing in the East Shipwreck yard and the Galra are still active as hell" She said I nodded and swam off to Hunk's and Pidge's houses.
