2.Time

I'm Bree Davenport and I sort of broke time. It happened a year ago when an evil tech guy named Gigawatts threatened to freeze the entire city. I came up with a plan to use a device that would allow me to reverse the effects of his machine. But while running to retrieve the device I ran too fast and managed to zip into an alternate timeline set in a too distant future. Now it's my job to make sure this really doesn't happen, by rescuing my team. But I don't come from just any team, I am from the Elite Force!

"There's one of them now!!"An officer yelled running towards Bree. But the speedster managed to dodge the attack.

She grabbed one of the officer's guns and finished them all off. "Good job now return back to base," Kaz said.

Bree ran into the abandoned subway where the secret base of the resistance was kept. "You did great and with a little more time we should be able to overthrow the Elite Enforcers," Kaz said turning off a beat up monitor.

"It's been a whole year since I've been back, we don't have that much time left"Bree sighed sitting down on an old couch.

"I can't just let you run out there not knowing what's coming, you could get killed"Kaz stated as he sat down next to Bree.

"You didn't tell me what happened to Skylar and the rest of the team" Bree stated turning to look at the vigilante.

"Well after Oliver died and you ran off, Giga-Watts mind controlled Skylar to act into a fit of rage which ended in Chase, Dakota, and I fighting against her" He explained.

"Don't tell me, she killed them" Bree gasped.

Kaz shook his head while twiddling his thumbs. "Worse, she apparently teamed up with Giga-Watts and they brainwashed them now they are Giga-Watts mindless drones" Kaz informed the speedster.

The news made Bree shudder in fear, never would she put her friends in such a terrible place. It made her feel ashamed to be sitting there while the rest of her teammates go through the agony that they didn't deserve. "Have you tried getting them to turn on Skylar?"Bree asked.

"I've tried everything, nothing works"Kaz sighed with a defeated look on his face, which could show the years of running and fighting. He scratched a huge scar above his left eye before resting his chin on his hand.

"And everyones been on edge, the dome amplifies the suns rays, making it hotter in the city which completely melted the ice Giga-Watts used to freeze the city over"

"Maybe we need help" Bree suggested.

"I've tried calling the Invincibles but communications are down, and ever since evil chase built that dome around the city no one has left" Kaz stated.

"The only way to get a message out is to fix the main router which is in the penthouse of the Elite Enforcers tower"

"Then I guess we're breaking in"Bree smiled.

Kaz looked at her like she was growing a second head.

"Bree you know damn well, we can not go into the enemies home base without backup"

Bree's smile faded. She threw her hands up in frustration. "What are we going to do Kaz?"She asked.

He scratched his head while pacing back and forth thinking of a plan.

"I GOT IT" he yelled making Bree jump a little.

"Tecton is in Centium City, maybe we can find him"He smiled.

Bree raised an eyebrow at his idea. "How the hell are we going to find him in this huge city?

Kaz thought about it for a second, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a wormhole transmitter.

"We can use this to teleport to him"Las explained.

"How?" Bree asked still in disbelief.

"If I turn the dial to superhero locator and type in Tecton, we should teleport right in front of him"Kaz smiled.

"And you didn't try to use this to get other supers outside of Centium City?"Bree asked.

"This one is short ranged"Kaz explained.

We huddled closely together and warped to Tecton's location.

Bree was expecting to warp in a super secret base underground somewhere.

But what she got was the aftermath of an explosion that took out an entire city block.

"What the heck happened," Brew asked as she observed the burned down buildings and small debris that littered the abandoned street.

"I don't get it, it says Tecton is right here," Kaz said, as he observed the wormhole transmitter.

"Kaz!"

The two heroes turned around just in time to see Tecton land in front of them.

"What are you doing here, I thought you were turned evil....or worse" Tecton explained.

Kaz smiled as he hugged to titanium skinned hero.

"We came to see if you could help us"

Tecton sighed in defeat as he combed his hair out of his face.

"There's not much I could do, Gigawatts is draining my powers for himself, the weaker I get the stronger he gets"

"Then it's settled we have to get up into that penthouse and take them down ourselves" Bree explained.

Chase took a deep breath before saying: "Fine, but you're going to need a disguise".
