I couldn't sleep tonight
so I went to the cold, dark night
Well, it was never really that dark to me
it was more of a purple color
but I guess everyone sees what they want to see.
The night wouldn't be the same without that
powerful color that makes the light shine brighter
I could allways see better at night
because it all shined through
and all my questions were answered
I walked to the coffee shop but it was obviously closed
So I just sat in the roots of nearby tree
And looked into the dark half of the blue
There's always some stars
that shine brighter than anothers
but tonight I could only see a star
Just as I always saw you in my head
alone with me
