*meanwhile, Arrabella was in convent gardens with Ellie*

The two young lovebirds lay on the on the grass in the park. Neither one speaking, neither one needing to. Ellie sat up, leaning on her elbow and pulled two cans of cider out of her bag and passed one to Bella who sat up too. She was about to ask where Ellie had gotten the drinks before the answer became apparent to her.
"You really shouldn't steal, Ellie." Bella scolded. Ellie just laughed, earning an eye roll in response.
"I'm serious! What if you get caught? We'd be separated." Bella pleaded. Ellie's face was suddenly very serious. Just the thought of loosing Bella was enough to put her in a panic. When she suddenly relaxed Bella looked at her confused.
Ellie leaned in closer and whispered, "then I won't get caught." She finished her sentence by pecking Bella's cheek. Earning yet another roll of the eyes. Ellie pouted and Bella debated rolling her eyes yet again. Instead she kissed her girlfriend lightly. They smiled.

They remained silent again, both drinking from their cans. Arrabella ran her finger alone the smooth edge of her can. "I've never committed a crime" she said suddenly. Ellie looked at her with concern but then forced a smile, "your father would be disappointed" she said. Bella looked down at her.

Both of them had pain in their eyes. Just thinking about their respective backgrounds was enough to bring them down, knowing that if either family were to know of the cross between them, they'd be pulled apart. Ellie muttered an apology and looked away.
Bella placed a gentle finger under the shorter girls chin to pull their lips together. Softly and slowly.
They laid back on the grass silently.  It was calm and sweet.
Until both of their phones rang. They shot up to be standing and pulled their phones from their pockets.  Their faces fell as they read the contact names on the screens, but laughed when they held up their phones to reveal that they both said "dad"
The two girls turned away from each other and answered their calls.

Hello? The fathers roared.
Hiya dad. The girls said in unison. In fact, both conversations were surprisingly in sync.
Where are you?
Out.
With who?
Bella/Ellie.
Well I want you home. Now!

The lines were cut dead and the girls looked at each other worried. They rushed their stuff together and walked hand in hand to the train station, both too scared to talk.  The train pulled into Baker starter station and the two girls got off.
One of the few benefits of their parents mutual disliking of one another was that the Moriartys lived within walking distance of the Holmes' residence.  "Hiding under his nose" Jim called it.

The girls stood outside the train station as it started to rain.  Bella looked up, letting the droplets hit her face.  "Pathetic fallacy" she muttered.  Ellie loved how smart Bella was.  Maths, english, science, history, geography.  She excelled in everything due to her perfect memory.  And although Bella would scold her for it, she loved Ellie's cheek and reckless nature.  She had a natural light step and slight of hand.  She thought through all the consequences yet rarely cared for them.

Their eyes met once more and they embraced in a strong goodbye kiss.  Knowing that their father's were mad at them- Arrabella's especially as she had been staying round Ellie's for almost a week.  And with no school as it was the summer they couldn't see each other regularly.

When they finally though reluctantly broke apart they embraced in a hug.  Still, neither one spoke.  Bella considered three words that she could say.  She didn't.  Neither of them ever did.  They broke apart once more and finally walked their separate ways.  Ready to face the wrath of their parents.
