Chapter 2: Meeting The Campers

[A/N]: There's going to be a little skip to when everyone gets properly introduced.

After David introduced you and the other counsellor, you smiled and looked over all the campers. Then, you saw Max, one of the campers who wore a blue hoodie, had dark floofy hair, and normally wasn't very cheery. You stopped smiling at the sight of him standing in the corner sadly, staring at the floor, and kind of worried. He didn't seem to like the fact that there were new counsellors and, from the look he gave you, you guessed that he'd preferred Gwen and David.

David saw your expression then looked towards where you were looking and saw Max. He nudged you and grabbed your arm tightly before swiftly dragging you away towards Max. You jolt at the sudden tugging and then stand up,

"Max! What's wrong?! Our new co-counsellor seems worried about you!" David yelled at Max, who jumped at the sound of the sudden voice.

"I-It's nothing David, just go the fk away." Max grumbles in reply.

"Language, Max!"

"Fk you."

David stops smiling and looks at Max frowning. Max looked up at the red-hair, and then looked at the floor, tears appearing slightly in his eyes. David noticed, and hugged Max tightly.

You just stood and stared till the hug, and you joined in. Max wiped his tears and hugged David back, ignoring you. David started smiling again and lifted Max up.

"Let's go do our first camp activity!!" David cheers, happily.
