Sophie's POV
I woke up with Ethan's warm breath on the back of my kneck - we'd fallen asleep on the couch. I smiled and cuddled more into him scared if I was too distant he may dissapear and disaporate into a dream. After about 10 minutes I decided to get up. I lifted my head with a smile which dropped as soon as I saw what was left on the silk pillow. Tears starting pouring out, as I began to sob loud. I put my hand over my mouth attempting to muffle the sound of my cries, I didn't want to wake E up.
Ethan's POV
I woke up to the sound of Sophie's sobs. I sat up quickly, fear running through my veins. 'Sophie?!??' I whispered.
She turned to face me pointing at the pillow, left behind was Sophie's long golden hair. I pulled her into my arms wiping her tears away with my thumb.
'Ethan don't look at me, I can't stand it' she whispered.
'Sophie , you're gorgeous, regardless of your hair or not. I'm here for you, you know that. I'm going nowhere' I said.
'Will you shave it for me please?' She sobbed.
'Ofcourse I will baby' I whispered looking up. pleading, begging, just asking for her to be okay.
Graysons POV
Nehir was lieing on the hospital bed grinning up at me with her gorgeous smile that always inspired me to be happy myself. This was the scan , that would tell us what our baby was going to be. I was preparing myself, clutching onto nehirs hand, I'd never leave her.
Nehirs POV
I smiled up at Grayson as he grabbed my hand. The nurse came into the room smiling exposing her perfectly white teeth.
'Your baby is a female' she said as she handed me the scan.
I squealed as Grayson put his arms around me.
'Our daughter' he said a tear spilling from his eye and rolling down his cheek.
'And I thought I'd be the emotional one' I giggled and kissed him on the cheek. He grabbed my bag as I grabbed my coat, we thanked the nurse and made our way to Sophie and Ethan's grinning the whole way.
Sophie's POV
I looked in the mirror at my newly shaved head. My once golden wavy waves were left all over the kitchen floor. A tear rolled down my cheek as I took it all in, the change. Ethan came up behind me and put his arms around my waist kissing me on the top of my head.
'Do you - do you still love me' I whimpered.
'Forever and always - no matter what. Sophie you're the light of my life, we are going to get through this , together.'
I nodded and kissed him on the lips.
Ethan's POV
She was beautiful , regardless of what her hair looked like. I was never going to leave her side , it was too late I'd fallen too hard and there was no going back now, I wouldn't change her for the world.
The door bell rung, I walked to the door and was greeted by Nehir and Grayson grinning their heads off , I'd almost forgotten they'd been for the scan. I'd been too occupied with Sophie.
Nehirs POV
As soon as Ethan opened the door I could feel there was something wrong. The house carried a overwhelming ora of sadness. I looked confused at Ethan as he quickly avoided my eyes and looked at the floor. I ran towards the kitchen where I could hear Sophie's muffled cries.
'Soph?' I whispered. As I came through the door I saw Sophie, her hair was gone and her head was in her hands.
'Soph you look amazing!' I put my arms around her wiping her tears away. The boys came through the door, a expression of sadness plastered on Their faces.
'Hey look at me soph' I whispered 'your gorgeous and if mine and grays daughter looks anything like you we'd be the luckiest parents alive'
Sophie's head popped up as she wiped her tears away- 'your Your having a girl??' She whispered.
'We sure are' gray smiled as he Put his arm on my shoulder reassuringly.
'I'm so happy for you!!' Sophie gasped hugging both Grayson and I individually in excitement.
' thank you' said Grayson, putting his hand on my bump with great cautiousness.
'See , everything will work out okay' said Ethan 'together, us four, we are so strong'
