I envy the birds for their flight,
I envy the tiger her beauty,
I envy the owls, rulers of night.
I envy the cheetah her quiet, sure might.
I envy the wolf for her confidence,
And I envy the birds for their flight.
I envy the whales and dolphins,
So mighty, so quiet, so sure.
I envy the eagles, though they may be no more.
I envy the birds for their flight,
I envy the tiger her beauty,
I envy the owls, rulers of night.
I envy the cheetah her sure, quiet might.
I envy the wolf her confidence,
And I envy the birds for their flight.
