Mrs. Rayner's POV: Today is an adoption day, that means families come to look at our girls and see if they are a good fit for their family. Here we mainly have young girls 3/7 but we also have some older ones. The really young girls 3-5 need help getting ready on adoption days otherwise they look crazy if they dress themselves.
I mainly help the 4 year olds get dressed, well I'm off to the first one, Summer. She is one of the only girls that doesn't have to share a room, Summer has a big imagination and other girls don't want to be a part of that. I know we're not supposed to pick favorites but Sumer is in my top 2. She is very sweet and kind, and she would be adopted by now but she has really bad trust issues with women. Her mom abused her when she was younger and she never really got over that. As she's grown up she's become a little more trusting but she still has her doubts with some.
Mrs. Rayner: Summer, it's time to get up remember today is an adoption day
Summer: Ok, are you gonna help me pick out clothes
Mrs. Rayner: of course honey, what do you want to wear
Summer: I was thinking purple
Mrs. Rayner: ok let's see what we have to work with
(After going through the purple things summer finally decided on a purple floral dress and white flats)
Summer: I wanna wear this
Mrs. Rayner: ok sweetie
This is what summer is wearing:
