The next day, Camila stands in line for coffee, red rimmed eyes hidden behind big sunglasses and head beating the heck out of her when Lauren sidles up to her, the dark haired looking just as fresh as she can be with her smudged make up and easy posture. The girl stares again and this time, Camila knows that there are no drugs to blame it on but she couldn't care less, she was more interested in the fact that the girl could withstand the sun without any form of protection around her eyes.It was after Camila got her coffee that Lauren spoke up. "So I've heard that gays should use gloss instead of lipstick. So, you know, it wouldn't leave traces."
Camila splutters on her drink, thankful that she only took a small sip. "W-what!? I am not ga-"
Lauren smiles a smile that really isn't a smile. "Yeah, and I am not sleeping around with half the guys in this University."
Camila stammers to rebut the accusation but found that she really couldn't, considering the rumors she had heard about the girl ambling quietly beside her. Lauren quirks her lip slightly and picks the coffee cup from Camila's hands, taking a long sip before returning it to her. Camila stares at her incredulously, wondering what kind of person drops a bomb like that on a person, takes HER coffee and drinks it, then gives it back like it was nothing.
A chuckle escapes from Lauren's lips. "You're interesting. Why are you denying yourself?"
"I'm not- What do you want from me?"
It frustrates her, how easily she loses her cool in front of this girl but Camila thinks she can forgive herself because you really can't win against someone who observes too much and says too little.
"Just want some answers. And like I said, you're interesting."
"What's so interesting about me?"
Camila was once again proven right when Lauren tilts her head to one side, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "Word is that you're gay and crushing on your best friend but don't have the guts to say it."
Camila gapes before letting anger take over her. "Don't say things that you don't know anything about!"
"Even if I told you that Vero knows and wants the same thing?"
She had faltered then, hand gripping the coffee cup tightly as she thinned out her lips, Lauren staring at her like it was all a game. She could only breathe out a whisper, Lauren opening the door to her class for her.
"You don't even know her."
The girl merely smirked and backs away with a stolen kiss from Camila. "I know everything."

After that particular meeting, she doesn't meet with Lauren until weeks later when Ally came bouncing up to her with another invitation to yet another club, Camila agreeing readily, ignoring the fact that she has three classes she can't afford to skip the next day, more interested in the fact that the invitation came with Vero as well, the girl shooting an easy smile at her. That night, when she picks out her outfit, she chose the shortest, most scandalous skirt she can find in her closet, alongside a long sleeved, drop shoulder blouse.
She thanks the gods up there, the angels, the spirits and even the freaking pillar that night because she did not see Lauren, Vero sweeping her into her arms the moment she stepped into the lively club, Camila happy over her choice of clothing because of all the skin. Somewhere along the line, MDMA made its appearance once more and soon, Vero and Camila were grinding on the dance floor, Camila pressed right up against the girl, Vero's chuckles filling her ear.
She twisted around and pressed her lips to Vero's, the girl chuckling into her mouth as they made out on the dance floor.
Breaking off for air, Camila pressed her mouth to Vero's exposed shoulder and caught the familiar stare of Lauren from the side.
