Sleep

As Darky and Silver sat by the fire hours later, they both started to fall asleep. "Darky...?" Silver asked wearily. "Yes my dear?" Her gaze turned towards her apprentice. "I'm afraid of falling asleep...what happens if Slights invade? What then? We won't be able to protect ourselves. I haven't even got my eyes awakened yet." The Awakening is when a Minder, or a human, gets their eyes opened back up to the world by the sun and moon's energy. When your eyes are fully awakened, you get to see Slights, powers, and many other things. "I don't think that will happen Silver. They're too busy with other things to worry about us." Darky said this to reassure Silver and herself, but she had her doubts. They actually could sneak into their dreams and take them to the Slight world...and many other things could happen.

So, minutes later, they were asleep. Silver appeared in her mind, sighing. She liked the darkness and comfort of her mind. It soothed her in a way. Every mind was a empty blackness to her, but she didn't mind. She could change her's and other's minds to fit her needs. Darky? She called out to her mentally, as she appeared before her. Darky gave a wide grin and smiled at the silver haired girl. She walked up to her and gave her a hug.

Silver smiled and ended the hug. She liked being with the dark haired teen, it reassured her in many ways, almost like a meditation. What now? Silver gave a questioning look towards her mentor, as Darky thought. I guess we could...practice your abilities. The younger girl gave a smirk, excited to start some more of her training. What do you want to start first? Darky asked, as Silver nodded. Healing. I want to see if my technique still works. Darky dipped her head. Alright. I'll make a presence, and it will be wounded. Heal it, alright? Silver agreed, and waited for Darky.

When Darky was done, a presence appeared in front of them. Darky gave a nod towards Silver, and Silver nodded back. Silver started to focus, as she walked up to the presence. It was slightly wounded, only a couple cuts and scrapes here and there. Silver sighed, and collected her energy. She shouted, Vol! as a silver flame appeared at the palms of her hands. She slowly put her hands up to the presence, and let flames flicker and touch it. She silently moved her hands downwards, following the presence's body. After she traced the presence, she let the flames disappear. The presence was fully healed.

After a few other practices, Sliver woke up to a loud hissing sound. Her ice blue eyes fluttered open as she looked around. Fire.
