yoongi tapped nervously on the wooden table that had been painted white. his demin clad legs restlessly bouncing underneath the table. he wasnt exactly sure why he was this nervous, he'd met up with hoseok multiple times before, and the encounters they had were nothing out of the norm. often when they went to public places together, like the convenience store around the corner from yoongi's apartment, they would be asked if they were dating. after which, both of them would blush furiously and shake their heads in unison before thanking the worker, bowing slightly and leaving.
yet this time, as this was officially a date, yoongi felt butterflies in his stomach and the thought of him and hoseok actually being an item caused his face and the tips of his ears to be tinted pink. he pulled his beanie over his ears and put his head down in attempt to hide his tomato like face from the general public.
it was cold outside today, the window next to which yoongi was sat being slightly foggy with condensation. through this window, he saw hoseok cross the road and the older of the two grinned, the gummy smile that rarely made an appearance was out, specifically for the ray of sunshine crossing the road right now.
hoseok noticed yoongi through the cafe window and also smiled, his left arm lifted to give yoongi a small wave. the other arm was by his side, holding a gift bag with two long ribbons as straps.
yoongi managed to smile more and drew a small smiley face in the foggy window once hoseok crossed the road and came up to the window that the older sat behind.
hoseok breathed on the window, also creating a small patch of condensation. he drew a heart and blew a kiss towards yoongi. he then pointed towards the entrance of the door and walked over, mouthing a silent 'im coming in'
at this point, yoongi was very nervous, but also very excited.
oh well, too late to run away now
