He imagined the way Val's legs use to spread like butter as he stared down at Anna's body under him in the covers. He imagined how Valerie's lips slightly parted as she looked up at him. He imagined how her back would arch when he kissed behind her ears. He imagined her a lot, even after he had married Anna.
Anna had brown hair, which was part of the reason he liked her. He'd been married to three other women besides Val. Two blonde one black haired. He'd never thought he'd have the guts to actually go up to a brunette, and To like one, one that wasn't Val. Ever since him and Val had decided that they needed some space, he'd kind of missed her. But, then he ran into Anna.
She was beautiful with her brown straight hair that was cut inches from her shoulders. It was loose and he liked it. But, he loved Val's more, but that didn't change anything.
He was married to Anna, been for two years or so now. Anna couldn't produce kids and she didn't want any at the moment. Jock kind of wanted a kid or two, but just to think of kids with a women other than Val killed him deep inside.
Valerie had been gone for two years, she'd text him sometimes, but nothing that was crossing the married couple line. The line that was dangerous. She knew he was married.
Anna worked at a Flower shop in town, you could say that was another thing that attracted him. Because, Val loved flowers.
So, One day he had walked into Anna's flower shop because he wanted to feel closer to Val and he ran right into Anna who was organizing a bouqet. And the flowers went everywhere.
Of course, he had to pay for them, because Anna demanded it. So, he bought the whole boquet. But, he didn't just buy the boquet, he gave them to Anna. Because as he looked at her, he could see a part of Val inside the girl that he couldn't resist.
Ever since they've been married.
When Jock and her left each other, for what they thought was for a little while. Valerie found out she was pregnant.
But, she was too scared to tell him. Because she had been informed that he had a girlfriend, by Gage. As she waited hoping they'd break up, two months later he was engaged and then a month later they were married.
Valerie heard about Anna and about her flower shop and about her brown hair. She knew right then when Gage had told her about Anna, that the only reason Jock married her was because she was like Val a little. And knowing this, she knew that Jock was in love with Anna deeply. And Valerie hurt a little knowing this, but she also felt a bit glad that Jock might actually go through with this marrage. So, she never told him about their baby or that she'd be naming him James. She never told him.
And everyone in her family but him knew, even though ever since then she'd been telling James about his father. She told him how he loved him, because she knew if Jock knew about James, he would love him even if he would be mad at Val for not telling him. James asked everyday or so if he could see his father. James was so interested and was so much like Jock and Valerie. He was such an intelligent boy and looked like Jock a little with his black hair and his young face and blue eyes. He loved adventures and loved to play hide-and-seek.
Ever since he was born he'd been a bright boy and Valerie loved him, because he was the only thing of Jock she had left, well that was living and not some old sweatshirt in her dresser.
Now, James was five, he was about to turn six soon. But, Valerie knew that she needed to tell Jock soon, James was getting older. Valerie had told James that his father didn't know about him, and James always asked her why and she always told him the truth. That he and her parted for a few days which went into years, that she found out she was with his child, that Jock had met a women named Anna and got married to her, and how she wished Jock knew. And James listened to the whole story several times. James would go through the photo album at home a lot and look at pictures of his father. He memorized every tiny detail of his father, just so that when he saw him for the first time that he'd know him well enough already.
