''Did you hear Marisha?'' my mother asked me. ''What?'' I asked. ''There will be a fashion show at the nearby stadium.The auditions start on Monday.'' she answered.What! I thought.I have never been able to attend an audition because I wasn't old enough. But now I was in university and now I have the privilege of attending and even entering the auditions.
It was Thursday and I still have time to get a dress at the mall.I grab my piggy bank and counted the money. It was just enough to buy two dresses and a pair of shoes. I was so happy! I put on my favourite pair of burgundy tights and a matching top. I brushed my hair and went through the door. ''MOM!''I called.''I'm going to the mall.''I said and rushed outside. I arrived at the mall fifteen minutes later.Once in the mall I went down the dress aisle.I found a purple dress and decided to buy it. I went to the shoe aisle next and found a matching pair of shoes . I am so lucky, I thought. I was disrupted from my thoughts buy a clatter of heels behind me. ''Can I help you miss?''a beautiful woman asked me.'' Yes please, is this sold out?'' I asked holding up the dress for her to see.
''Um...yup... I think so.''she replied.
Oh no!Now I'll have to choose another one.I groaned. ''Are you ok?''the woman asked sweetly.I can't believe it!she heard me groaning! ''Yeah, yeah sure.''I answered even though I was no where close ok.
''I suggest you choose another one.'' She says without any emotion.Reluctantly I put back the dress and shoes.Oh!how I was disappointed. I saw a shocking green dress and I decided to try it. Oh my!I am in luck once more.I thought.
I asked the lady once more if it was taken and she said no.Wow! I am in luck today! I thought. I went to the shoe aisle once more and found no shoe to match it. Bad luck
''Maybe you should try the silver one, it will do.'' the lady suggested. I took up the silver pair of heels and tried them on, along with the dress, in the dressing room.They fit perfectly and I was overjoyed.I hurriedly took them off and went to find the lady to tell her thanks.When I found her she asked me if I would like to be her friend.''Yes!'' I said a little too hurriedly. If only I knew what was before me!
