So, here is how this whole summoning thing works. So, the basics, which you may have learned from the story, is you take the paintbrush, paint a mark of a Sans, and yell out, 'Now summoning! (Name of AU) Sans!'. But there is more to that.
You can still paint the mark, but if you don't say the phrase, the Sans won't be summoned. The Sans can also reject being summoned. Let me explain what happens on a Sans' point of view.
A summoning circle appears at their feet, and they can either give a thumbs up, or a thumbs down. If they give a thumbs up, they will be summoned. But if they give a thumbs down, the mark will explode, and they will not be summoned.
Sanses are also split up into 3 groups:
The Elite Team
The Silver Team
The Rookie Team.
The Elite Team, holds the strongest Sanses. They are extremely powerful, dangerous when angered, and will give you a one hell of a bad time. Elite Sanses can easily take down Zodiac celestials.
The Silver Team, holds the medium strongest Sanses. They are still powerful, not that dangerous when angered, but will still give you a bad time. They may be able to take down Zodiac celestials, but can easily take down Silver celestials.
The Rookie Team holds the pretty weak Sanses. They aren't powerful at all, not at all dangerous when angered, and will not give you a bad time. The Rookie Team can't take down a Zodiac celestial, but may be able to take down a silver celestial.
