I ran through the smoldering heat... determined to help them. The floor was on fire and the stairs were breaking apart. Soon I thought soon.. I wouldn't be able to get back up there if I went any slower they would be dead before I even got there. Pushing forward and trying not to think about it as much I started to sprint towards them. Large chunks of the ceiling kept falling down too close for comfort. As I neared the stairs I climbed them as fast as I could. Seeing the mother and daughter in the corner of the room surrounded be fire I immediately sprung into action, dodging the fire and getting to them.

" Take her and forget about me, we don't have time..."

The little girl started sobbing.

" No mom no!!"
As I  dragged her away and got her in a hold and ran down the stairs and out of the house. I dropped her on the ground

"Go! Before it's to late!!"

" B-But moms-"

"I know I know, but you need to run away before this collapses!"

I ran back inside the roof was caving in and in moments it would be in ruins. I sprinted as fast as I could back up the stairs and saw that this used to be a bedroom. As I hurried towards the mother I quickly scanned the room. Bingo. There was a window, I knocked my shell hard against the window and it shattered I had to focus everything that I had on balancing and not falling out of the building itself. Once that as done I turned to her, she was cornered and she was crying.

" Please, tell Cherry that I love her.."

"You don't have to say that" I said as I got to her and dropped her out of the window as safely as possible but I threw her far enough hoping that when the building would collapse and wouldn't touch her. Right after that I felt a searing pain on my shell and searing heat and then there was complete darkness all around until all sense of light was gone...

Hey guys I hope you liked this prologue and I do have some other things that I am working on in real life so let me know if you want me to write them.
