It's been 4 days...

I've been in this room since I was taken by those group of people on the road. All I've eaten these past days is sandwiches with water, but they let me walk around the room with a chain locked around my foot, I haven't showered and I'm starting to pick at my fingernails out of boredom.

Ive heard a couple phone calls from outside of the room, talking of all sorts, like about a lab and progress.

I have no idea. But I know for one thing, I miss my family so much. It feels as if my heart has been crushed, as if I'm lost without them. I try to stay strong everyday, praying for someone to find me. No one has come. I"m just.. stuck here. Memories of my sister flash through my head, every now and then. From when we were smaller to when we graduated Middle school to the day before I got taken.

Just then I hear the door open, and the lights flash on quickly. I try to lift my head up to see what's going on. A guy that took me comes closer, and looks at me.

"What's going on?!" I panic and start to shift away.

He replies "Nothing" He pauses, scribbling down something on his notepad. "Just making a few arrangments outside." By outside he means outside from the room I'm trapped in. Wait, his eyes shifted when he said that. Is he possibly lieing?

"Uh huh, Great, so you're going to sell me.." I'd plopped my head into my hands as he spoke

He then abruptly grabs my shoulders and squeezes them tightly, making me look up. "Hey get off!"

He'd sigh, then gently letting my shoulders go, What just happened? I'd then turn my head the other direction, spitting to the ground.

He'd then start to calm down. "Look.. I didn't mean to hurt you, I'm sorry about that. But can you just corperate. You'll be with your sister soon enough."

And with that he looks at me one last time, smiling at me even.

He turned on his heel before clicking the lights off.

Darkness.

What did he mean You'll see your sister soon?

What if-

Suddenly, I heard yelling from outside of the door.

"Let me go!" came from the outside. Then the door opened and I could hear a shuffle of people coming in. Without turning on the lights, I heard a thud as if someone dropped a box by accident. More footsteps were walking around, I couldn't keep quiet anymore. "Hey! What's going on?" I tried to get up, almost forgetting I was chained to the wall. "Zaversheniye yeye." Someone mumbled something from the corner, my expression grew confused, even thought it was dark and you couldn't see. "What? Listen, I want to know what's going on!"

"Marie! Is that you!" I could hear her coughing and then with an "oof" she was next to me.

The shuffling of shoes left the room and it was just the two of us. "Dalia! Are you okay? Did they hurt you? What happened at the mall!? I'm so happy to see you!" Since our hands were chained all we did was get close to one another, using our heads to place them on one anothers shoulder, like a hug without arms. I could feel tears running down her cheeks so I nuzzled my head into her shoulder to try to comfort her. "It's okay Dalia, were gonna get out of here, people are probably already looking for us." I said in a whisper tone, in case if anyone was listening, they wouldn't be able to hear.

For the last hour, all we did was pour our hearts out to one another, telling each other at least seven times what happened at the mall. Even in a situation like this, I was still able to make her laugh. It began to get emotional, and I could feel the tiniest tears leak out of my eyes. I wasn't big on crying. I rarely did.

"Dalia, when I had heard that you were.. missing. I went out, starting to look for you, even went to Tony's house, that's when I was at a stop light and everything went black." She sighed, I continued. "Before that, when I was driven to the station, they took me in to a room, asking me all sorts of questions, same with mom." I paused. "Mom.. She's worried too, I don't think she has told Anthony because he's at college, I would think that she knows he doesn't need this kind of.. stress at the moment, during exams-"

"Stress?! Marie, we've been taken! Do you get that? I'm sure our BROTHER wants to know that his sister's have been abducted!" She freaked out, and I could hear her sniffle. "Dalia.. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put it that way, I just.. I don't want him to go through the pain, it's sad enough that mom is going to find out soon enough."

"Marie, I'm scared... I don't want to die and I d-don't want to be sold away! I can't loose you!" "Shh! It's going to be okay, I won't let that happen Dalia, okay? You're save with me, and I won't let anyone take you, I would risk my life for you y'know that, literally, if it was me or you who has to die, you know I would do it." There was a brief silence, and then I could hear her laughing.

I began to laugh for no certain reason, "Whats! Ahaha! What's so funny!" We both continued to laugh, and it was like we could see one another in the dark, like I could imagine her laughing and smiling. "QUIET IN THERE!" We heard from the outside, quickly we stopped and whisper-laughed amongst each other. "What was so funny?" I asked her.

"Ms. Ingram-" She started to laugh again. "Cmong Dalia, tell me!" "Okay okay, I was imagining Ms. Ingram risking her life for a box of donuts!" She said quickly because she couldn't contain her laughter. "Ahahahahaha!!" We both uncontrollably laughed out loud again, and the door unexpectedly slammed open. I gasped and told her to be quiet.

Loud footsteps came closer, and we waited for what was going to happen, holding one another closely. SMACK! I heard a slap and Dalia began yelling out, and not in a laughing way. "What did you do!" I yelled to who ever was in here. "Dalia, are you okay?! Where did you go! DAL-" SMACK! Within seconds my cheek woke with a burning sensation, making me fall to the ground. Yeah, that's how hard it was. "I told you both to shut up! NOW QUIET!" My eyes went all teary and my face was probably red, but I was more worried about Dalia.

I waited for the person to leave the room, then I got up coughing. "Dalia, are you okay? Where are you." I could hear a faint sniffling and then she spoke. "Over here, I think they seperated us, I can't move any closer to you. Try to move."

I did but when I got to as far as I could go, I didn't feel her, and it was too dark to see anything. "I went the farthest I could go, It'll be okay Dalia. Just stay quiet for now, speak every now and then in a low voice so I know you're still awake."

We spoke silently after a while, but soon enough I could hear her snoring, so I tried to get some sleep aswell. Dozing off.
