the permanent lines being marked into her skin
have a special meaning
throughout the pain
she knows that to have this masterpiece with her at all times is the greatest prize
the artist is not using paint. pencils. pastels.
but an entirely different medium.
he pours his heart and soul into making sure it doesn't disappoint
it covers her back
her masterpiece
she is the only one who knows what it means
and it will be with her forever
and ever
