Chapter 2

I stopped laughing, noticing that he's really upset, and said, "Hey, Im sorry. I didnt laugh at you! Im laughing to myself!!! I feel so touched cause youre saying sorry, and now, your comforting me and all." I touched his arm. "Thankyou for that. You were the only guy that said sorry to me after all theses years that I study here." I said, looking down, shy for my confession.

 

He put one finger under my chin and tilted it upwards to look into my eyes. He said, "And why is that?"

 

I removed my gaze from his, flushed. Cant he see Im a nerd? Nerds are the ones that always gets bullied by this jocks!!!

 

"Well cant you see me?!" I said , now standing up.

 

"Yeah.." He said, not coping up wih his conversation.

 

"Im a nerd for Chrissake!!! Why wouldnt anyone bully me?! Im.........bully-ble! So why dont you just stay way from me, like everyone does!" okay, thats not the best line, but hey! Im upset!

 

He stood up as well and touched my arm. "Theres nothing wrng with being a nerd. And Im not gonna stay away from you now that I know youre being bullied."

 

"Why?"

 

"Because, now you can have me! As your knight in shining armor!!!" he said, posing himself like a knight. Boy, this guys reallys is hilarious! But, Im touched. 

 

"Why are you being nice to me.....uhh, whats your name?" haha! I talked and yelled at him, but I didnt even know his name!

 

"Ezekiel. But you can call me Zeke... And as for your other question, well, I was once bullied as well. So I know the feeling." he said smiling at me. God! His smile is contagious. I find myself smiling as well. But when his words started to enter my brain, the smile faded, and was replaced by a surprised face. I mean, this perfect guy? With perfect face and body?

 

"So, you find me perfect huh?" he said smirking.

 

"Huh? When did I tell you that?"

 

"You kind of whispered something like that." I was flushed again. I cant believe I said my thoughts out loud.!!! I looked away from him and sat down again.

 

"I didnt." I said crossing my arms.

 

"Hmmkay. Maybe I heard you wrong." he said. But I totally believed that he just let it go so I won be more embarrassed. And bless him for that!

 

"So..." i said, not knowing what more to say.

 

"So...!!! I am now officially your knight in shining armor!! And I guess, your friend?" he said, hoping.

 

"Yeah, I guess...But you shouldnt hang out with me you know. If you want to get all popular. Im a nerd. Guys like you-no scratch that!-People like you dont hangout or even talk to people like me. I mean-" I was cut off by a hand on my mouth stopping me from speaking.

 

"Now, nowFIrst of all, I dont really want to hangout with the jocks. I dont do plastics. Second, I dont want to be Mr.Popular really. And third, dont talk about yourself like that. Your beautiful and I want to be your friend, and thats final.Okay?"

 

"Okay..." i said, stunned from his speech. He's so niiiiice! He let go of my mouth, pulled me up, and put my backpack over his.

 

"You dont have to do this you know.."i said. We were now walking through corridors and headed to my next class since the lunch is almost over. I stopped at the front door of my class and looked to him.

 

"Thankyou, but here I am.You should probably head to your class.And Im Venice by the way." i said turning around. When im about to enter, he stopped me by pulling me by my elbow.

 

"What?" i said, irritated.
