the summer of our lives

"Finally I'm so happy school is over, are you girls all packed up," asked Courtney.

"Yup I have everything packed and ready to go. Including all the money I saved up for this summer since my parents said i either use my own money this summer or get a job," answered Hannah.

Everyone that went to the upper north side private school owned a summer house in the hamptons. As Cholè, Cassidy, Hannah, Courtney walked home from the last day of school they talked about there summer in the hamptons. Every year it was something new and every year it was unforgettable. They would all drive there on the same day and almost all their houses were on the same two blocks. Everyone from school had a house there too, kids in the upper north side private school knew the hamptons like the back of their hand.

"This year is going to be so fun," said Cholè excitedly.

"Yea because this year we are all 16 so we can attend the end of summer beach bash," exclaimed Cassidy.

"What time are you guys leaving tommorow?" asked Cholè.

"I'm leaving at 8 a.m. and the guys said they would be there by 11 a.m." answered Hannah.

Suddenly the girls reached Cholè's house. They lunged up the great white cobble steps leading to the front door. Cholès house was enormous, probably because her mom was a fashion designer and her father was a lawyer. They girls opened the tall heavy dark brown wood door and stepped inside. One step in and you could feel the cool air conditioner breeze on you.

"Cholè is that you hun?" yelled Amy, Cholès mother.

"Yea mom it's me and my friends we are gonna go upstairs and they will help me pack. okay?" yelled back Cholè. Her voice seemed to echo throughout the house because of the size. But it's not like the other girls were foreign to Cholès type of home. All the houses around here are like that. The girls hopped up the spiraling staircase up to Cholès room.

"What else do you need to finish packing?" asked Courtney.

"Just need your guys help on bathing suits," answered Cholè while opening her white shiny closet doors. She walked into the closet and dragged out her suitcase.

"Now should I bring this-"

"Just bring them all Cholè, we are gonna be there the whole summer," said Hannah.

"Your right," Cholè said while stuffing the bathing suits into her suitcase.

Cassidy was turning the perfume bottles on Cholès dresser when she turned around she was looking at the other girls. She thought of all the fun times the girls always had togather, she couldn't wait for the hamptons it would be amazing. The girls talked awhile about the memories of the previous summers and what they did in the Hamptons. They were so excited for what this year had to bring
