Chapter 12

~~~Cholès pov~~~

"Hey guys," I said as I walked back onto the beach.

"What took you so long?" asked Hannah.

"Oh, uhhh my mom was talking to me and I had to wait for her to go to bed," I said hoping they wouldn't notice my shaky voice. I was never good at lying.

"Let's go already," yelled Brendan from over by the pier.

Everyone started getting up,

"What are we doing at the pier?" I asked.

"Relax Cholè, come on let's go have funn," said Nick.

Everyone ran over to the pier and the guys started running up the stairs.

"Did anyone bring any drinks," yelled Jimmy to us.

I opened my mouth to say no but Courtney said,"no but we can make some."

"What do you mean?" asked Cassidy.

"Who likes piña coladas?" she yelled up.

"We'll all take one," yelled back Tom, "why were are you getting them?"

"Were gonna go make em," said Courtney walked towards the snack shack.

"I don't know guys," said Hannah worriedly.

"Shut up Hannah, come on," said Courtney.

We ran to the shack and went to the side entrance.

"It's locked," said Cassidy.

"No duh Cass," said Courtney.

"So how are you gonna get in?" asked Cassidy.

"This," she said while pulling a bobby pin from under her hair.

"Careful Court the guy that owns it love right there," said Hannah pointing at the house closes to the beach.

"I'm not stupid it's fine you babies," she said pushing the bobby pin into the lock.

I sucked in a breath. Please don't let the alarm go off.

The lock pulled down, and Courtney pulled it off and opening the door. We walked into the shack and looked around.

"Jack pot," I said pulling piña colada

mix off the shelf.

"Nice," said Cassidy taking the mix and pulling out a blender.

Courtney grabbed all the ingredients and poured it into the blender. We were all standing around the blender when Cole walked in. We all jumped,

"Cole!!!? are you serious. I thought you were the guy who owns this place.

"Sorry guys I just wanted to make sure you guys weren't being little girls and making these piña coladas virgin," he said smirking.

"Oh okay Cole I feel you, now get out," said Courtney laughing.

Courtney grabbed all the stuff and put it into the blender, she plugged it in and pressed the cap on top. She leaned in and hit the button. The cap flew off and hit the light switch. Hannah walked over to the light switches and went to hit one on.

Ehhhh ehhhh ehhhh ehhhh

"The alarm!!!! Run!" I screamed.

We all started running, the boys sprinted down the steps we ran towards the pathway to the streets when we saw a porch light turn on.

"Come back come back!! That's the guy who owns the shacks house!!!" screamed Nick.

I turned around. We all stopped looking at each other,

"Where are we supposed to go!!" Hannah screamed.

"Only one choice," said Tom as he ran up the pier and jumped straight into the water.

All the guys followed him and me Hannah Cassidy and Courtney stood at the edge of the pier.

"There is no way," said Hannah.

"Want to get caught? Come on!" they yelled at us.

We all looked at each other.

"He's coming! Jump!" yelled Nick.

I didn't even think, I just plunged straight into the water. When I came out I saw everyone is still as they could be. I saw the man running to a shack, I held my breath. Please don't let him see us. We were all as still as we could be under the pier. The water was cold but no one complained.

"Just some teenagers again Sue!" the man yelled to a woman who was standing on the porch of the house.

The man locked up the door and walked back to his house. No one spoke until they saw him close his front door.

"Oh my god," I breathed.

"Happy summer Clo," said Nick taking my hands and helping my out of the water.

"Yea happy summer," I said smiling.

We all walked the long way home so we can have to pass the mans house. The guys and girls parted ways, as we were walking back to our street.

"That was the best night of my life," said Cassidy holding her heart.

"Are you kidding Cass we almost got caught, we would've been dead if he told our parents," said Hannah.

"Oh my God Hannah relax," said Courtney.

When I got to my house I hugged them goodbye and they kept walking.

Cassie turned around and said, "text me in the morning," with a smile.

I climbed through my window and stepped into my room. I was soaking wet, I changed into pajamas and crawled into my bed. I pulled my phone out and looked at it.

Two new messages

I opened the and it said

Nick: remember when we used to say that we would never get into trouble like the older kids did and that we would just play manhunt forever, the good old days haha. Nite Cholè

I texted back: we were the weirdest kids. Nite nick

Then I open the second one and it said,

Justin: thanks for waking me up. You know you're not very good at sneaking. You know your supposed to be sneaky when you sneak in right? Haha nite Cholè.

I text back: haha you're so funny, night Justin Bieberrrrr.

I put my phone on my night table and sighed.

"Ahh, i love the hamptons," I mumbled as I drifted off
