Chapter 10

~~~Cholès pov~~~

After dinner I went upstairs and texted Cassidy, Courtney, and Hannah.

Me: done with dinner hbu guys??

Cassidy: done

Courtney: just finishing up.

Hannah: picking out an outfit now, come over now

Cassidy: Jason texted me and said everyone's meeting on the beach at 10

Hannah: come over now and tell ur parents that ur sleeping here. My mom and dad are out and won't be back til really late.

I grabbed an outfit and stuffed it in my bag. I grabbed my phone and charger and walked down stairs,

"I'm going to Hannah's okay?" I said.

"Be back by 11. It's 9 now," my mom answered.

"Actually Hannah said we can sleepover. Can I?"

"No Cholè, I want you sleeping here tonight. I know Hannah's parents aren't going to be home," she said like she knew what we were gonna do.

"Mom please," I pleaded.

"I'll be coming into your room at 11 to check if your in here. You better be in here," she said as she turned the other way to go do the laundry.

I slammed the door behind me. I walked down to Hannah's and knocked twice, then I just walked in. I ran up to Hannah's room. Cassidy was going through Hannah's draw to help her pick out an outfit. Hannah was sitting on her beanbag chair, and Courtney was laying on Hannah's bed looking at her phone.

"My mom said I have to be home by 11," I said angrily.

"That only gives you an hour though," said Courtney looking away from her phone.

"Hah she thinks she has us figured out," I said.

"What do you mean?" asked Hannah.

"She thinks we are sleeping here because your parents are out so we are gonna come home late," I said rolling my eyes.

"So she does have us figured out," said Cassidy confused.

"She said she's gonna come in my room at 11 to see if I'm there. So I'll go to the party leave at 10:50. Go home, so I'm there when my mom checks and then wait till she falls asleep and I'll be back," I said with a smirk.

"Welcome to the dark side," said Courtney with a giggle.

"PERFECT!" screamed Cassidy.

"What?!" Courtney said confused.

"Oh sorry I found the perfect outfit," Cassidy said laughing.

Cassidy threw light wash shorts and a tye-dye crop top at Hannah. I got up pulled out my outfit.

"How's this?" I said pulling out my white shorts and a light pink shirt that said 'sunkissed'.

"Wear this shirt instead," said Cassidy throwing a light purple crop top.

I got dressed and so did the other girls. I put on my flip-flops and we walked downstairs to the front door. We walked out of the house and started our way to the beach.

"Ahhhh,"said Cassidy.

"What?" I asked smiling at her.

"Nothing, I just really love summer," she said smiling back at me.

We walked onto the beach saw a huge bonfire that the boys just made. Cassidy ran over and hugged Josh. She put her arms around his neck and looked up at him.
