After the interviews, we all have to go straight to bed because training starts tomorrow and the last thing we need it to be tired. We rise early and begin making our way down to the training center. This is the first time we will get to socialize with the other tributes and possibly find allies, not that I really need them. I will be fine on my own. Plus, if I make friends, it will be that much harder to kill them if i have to.

I glance around and see that other tributes have already started to gather at the stations with weapons. I want to learn how to fight but I also need to know how to survive. I walk over to a little brown table and see that there are various cups of juices and paints. Why would I need this? I think to myself, If anyone came after me, I would just kill them. Not hide until the game is over.

I continue on until I see a table with numerous strings laid out. I grab those and begin to tie a simple snare. After I finish a couple of those, I move on.

Maybe it would be a good idea if I went to check out the competition. I head towards the weapons and I already notice that there are many skilled fighters among this years patch of tributes. I have to be careful since there are twice the usual number.

Maislyee seems to have a pretty good aim. She picks up a throwing knife and only misses the big X by a few inches. If she focuses her time on that, she may end up pretty lethal if she happens to grab some knives at the bloodbath.

I grab a silver throwing knife by the handle and walk towards a few of the easier targets. The knife feels odd in my hand. I pull my arm back an chuck the piece of metal at the board. It clatters to the ground.

A few tributes turn their heads to look at me but I shrug it off. I don't want to try and learn a NEW skill right before the Games because if I'm relying in it for survival and I screw it up, something might get messy.
