"Tori?" someone said.
I grumbled, "Go away," and then turned over in my bed.
"Tori, you need to get ready for school honey." I recognized the voice as my dad's.
I groaned and swung my feet over the bed side as I sat up. My dad was sitting on the end of my queen sized, purple and black polka dotted bed. He was smiling.
"Is too early to smile." I said sleepily.
"Austin is downstairs." He smiled.
My face lit up. I jumped off my bed and ran to the walk-in closet in the corner of my room. 'What should I wear today?' I thought to myself. "Dad! What should I wear?" I yelled over my shoulder.
He walked in, looked around, then went straight to the bi white dresser. He pulled out a pair of bright yellow short shorts then he walked over to one of the racks that held a ton of tank tops. I watched him sort through the shirts; finally pulling out a light blue cami with a bow around the waist.
"Perfect." I smiled.
"I know." He tossed me the clothes then walked away.
I grabbed a pair of ballet flats and ran into my bathroom to change. I put on my makeup and fixed my long black hair. I looked at my blue-green eyes.
"Tori!" Austin yelled.
"Sorry! I'm coming!" I yelled back. I grabbed my bad and ran downstairs.
He pulled me straight out the door to his car.
As I walked down the hall with Austin people would yell things like;
"Hey babe!"
"Yo Tori!"
"What's up?!"
I smiled to myself. Austin rolled his eyes and put his arm around my shoulders. The boys just stared at him with....envy?
"TORI!" Mary yelled while she hugged me tight.
"MARY!" I yelled back.
Mary had red, straight hair. She had freckles that were sprinkled over the bridge of her nose. Her eyes were a really pretty green color. I loved green eyes!
"Did you tell him?" she asked, grabbing my hands.
"Tell who what?" I asked confused.
"Austin! Did you tell Austin you good news?!"
"Nope." I popped the 'p' for dramatic effect. She just rolled her eyes.
"Tell me what?" he looked at me.
I stared at him. His brown hair was hanging in his chocolate brown eyes. It annoyed me a little.
"Tori?" they said together.
"Oh! Sorry!" I smiled sheepishly. "I got a call from Jon last night..." I began.
Austin nodded eagerly.
"Tell him!" Mary was jumping up and down now.
"He said I'm perfect! We're gonna make a demo and he'll send it to a record company!"
"I'm so proud of you babe!" he pulled me into him, hugging me to his chest.
"You do know you're in school right?" Mike joked as he walked over.
"Shut up Mike." Austin play punched his arm.
I smiled at Mary who was checking Mike out. She saw me ans smiled back.
The last bell went off.
"Time to start the last day of school!" Mike said with fake enthusiasm.
Everyone groaned.
