~~Max's pov~~
"aww damn Tori that hurt!" I fake pouted while she smirked at me. I sighed this is what I get for fighting with Tori.
"told ya I'm fast babe!" she said in our heads. yes, we're wolves right now. I wanted to make sure that my mate could fight if she needed too...trust me. she can.
"Go!" Mary shouted from the side lines. everyone started to cheer and clap.
I dodged tori as she lunged for my front leg. a growl escaped my lips. she was so fast man! before I could spin around she was on top of my back with the scruff of my neck gently between her teeth. I whimpered as she rolled off me. hurt flashed through her eyes. I took my chance and tackled her to the dirt. we changed back to humans.
"never let your enemy fool you." I whispered in her ear.
"I'll remember that next time Hun." she smiled as I pulled her off the ground. a blur of red tackled Tori to the ground in a hug.
"Mary...can't breath.!" Tori fake gasped.
"sorry!" she sat up so she was straddling her. "are you ok? any cuts, bruises, brakes?" Mary checked tori's stomach wer I had bit her. "tell me if you're hurt so I can kick his ass."
"I'm fine." she laughed.
Mary pouted but helped her up. "fine but I'm still gunna kick his ass!" my eyes widened as she jumped on my back.
Tori rolled her eyes then jumped on ron's back. "to the mall!!" they yelled. all the guys went back inside.
me and Ron took off to the cars with the girls still on our backs.

~~still max's pov~~
"OH EM GEE!" Mary screamed. people in the store were used to them I guess cause nobody turned around to look at the jumping girls.
"you have to get it M!" tori was pratically jumping off the walls.
"they don't have my size Boo!" she sighed. me and Ron looked at each other. they were standing in front of some ankle boots with wide desperate eyes.
"but it's the last pair!" Tori whined.
Mary gave the box to Tori and nodded. "yours."
we paid then left the stupid shoe store. Tori grabbed my hand and linked arms with Mary. "were to next?" she looked at all of us. Ron shrugged as did I. Mary rolled her eyes at us then said "holister. duh."
"oh em gee! I need some skinny jeans to go with these boots. what color do you suggest Mary. I was thinking black or a really light blue ya know? cause the boots are grey and we deff don't want the colors clashing." Mary just nodded.
"oh my god! can I see the shoes?" a male voice said from behind us. Tori smiled then pulled the shoes out. the guy giggled! he giggled!
"you must put them on!". she did as she was told and wow! it's amazing how a pair of shoes can make a hot girl look sexy. he fanned himself. "you need some jeans hun."
"Ron, max. you guys go and shop or something. me and Tori are gunna shop with him!" Mary grabbed their hands and pulled them away.
"so..now what?" he asked me.
"not sure."
~~Tori's pov~~
me and Mary were shopping with a guy named Alex. he had short brown hair and bright blue eyes. oh and he is gay! YES!
"here." he threw me a pair of bright blue skinny jeans. "how many pairs is that?"
"10" Mary answered. Alex nodded.
"let's get some shirts." he pulled us out of hot topic after paying and into kholes. I didn't know they had a kholes in the mall!
"whoa." Mary muttered as we walked in.
he went to the shirts and grabbed a purple shirt that had a dinosaur on it. then a light blue dress that would reach mid thigh, it was strapless and had a white bow under the breasts.
"2" I mumbled. "amlex I have a card ya know? I can pay! you've already bought me 4 pairs of shoes, 10 pairs of pants, some sunglasses, 3 dresses and now your working on shirts."
he smiled then shook his head. "I'm getting you some shorts to! and I'm rich. I wanna pay. don't worry."

~~back at the house~~
man Alex can shop! I looked around my room, it was flooded with bags of clothes from hot topic holister abercrombie kholes and many more. I sat on the bed and slipped my shoes off. grr dumb heels. Mary walked in while I was rubbing my feet. she rolled her eyes then sat next to me. I continued to rubbed my feet.
"sooo"
"your birthday is in a few days...I was wondering if you wanted to invite aggie over? for like a week? maybe two. she's been calling non-stop." she said in a tired voice.
"yeah sure. I miss aggie. but she would have to sleep in your room. max's family is coming over. which means family+pack+us+aggie=no bedrooms."
she nodded. "will you stay with us?"
"sure"
"thanks" she got up to walk out.
"wAit. Mary."
"yeah?" she turns around to face me.
"stay in here. I'm having the dreamagain." I looked at my lap as tears poured down my face. she rushed over and crushed me in a hug.
"I'm so sorry." she muttered into my hair.
we lied down next to eachother.
"it's worse ya know." I said after 30 minutes of silence.
"tell me bout it. it might help." she said while staring up.
I looked up. "me and my family are in my house. the fire starts. I get out but realize my parents are still inside so I try to go back but something holds me back. I see my parents banging on the window screaming for help. but I stand their helplessly." we stayed quiet till my phone rang.
"hello?"
"is this Tori Morgan?"
"Morgan is my middle name bur yes. why?"
"this is nurse Macy. your parents are dead."
"w-what?!"
"they were caught in a fire. their summer home burnt down. they were badly burned and beond repair. I'm very sorry. arrangements are being made."
"arrangements? for what?"
"who will take care of you."
"I'll be 18 in a few days. I have a house. my parents money. I can provide for myself."
"alright. and Tori?"
"yes?"
"I'm very sorry for what has happened." with that she hung up.
I threw my phone at the wall causing it to smash into a hundred pieces. Mary was crying.
"you heard?" she nodded. I kissed her forehead then ran out the door.
"TORI! TORI WAIT!" she yelled while running after me. I changed and bolted to the forest, leaving a sobbing Mary on the front porch.
