(Wow actual titles instead of someone's point of view! okay those still exist)

I scared the person I was supposed to watch and her cousin loves to yell at me. Yessica had a taste for music...that she borrowed from her sister. She sang loudly to Burning Love; whether or not to annoy Vanessa and I, well I don't know? She started to walk with a bounce in her step. Vanessa grinned, I think she was happy just to see her cousin happy.

I stopped in front of the building that would lead Yessica to her destiny. That was a little too dramatic, but it was true. "You didn't plan this far ahead, did you?" Yessica looked at me. Vanessa looked up at the building. "We break in." Yessica and I whipped our heads around to face her. Yessica frowned, "We can't just break in. We need a plan." "Yeah, a plan to break in." "Vanessa!" Yessica called out. I sighed, "Vanessa might just have an idea. I don't think there is anyone in the apartment next door. You can climb up the fire escape that leads to that apartment. I can keep an eye on the Mirandas." Vanessa nodded, "Let's go." Yessica hesitated, "What if we get caught?" She had a point, "We'll cross that bridge when we get there." She seemed reassured.

To say that I poofed myself back into the Mirandas' home would be a bit over dramatic and silly. I whipped my head around, hoping I didn't accidentally cause any heart attacks with my sudden appearance. There wasn't anyone around. I looked into the other rooms. Lin was in his room, but he was also alone. I went back to the other apartment. Vanessa stayed by the fire escape. Yessica was waiting by the door. "He's alone in the house. You can sneak in through the fire escape. But, you have to hurry." Yessica nodded, she followed me out onto the fire escape. I led her to the other apartment. She opened the window to get in. We were lucky, no one was in the room. Yessica left the window open, in case she needed to get out sooner than expected. She heard a bark, looking over at me for help.

I took my chances and appeared in front of Tobillo, Lin's beloved dog. Yessica looked around the living room. She shook her head at me and moved to another room. I could hear her feet quietly shuffling through the room. A drawer was quietly opened. She gasped, once more as quietly as she possibly could with a dog nearby. She hurried out of the room. "Go." She whispered.

I stayed behind long enough for Yessica to get out of the apartment as quickly as possible. She closed the window and disappeared. I wandered into the living room, Tobi making as much noise as she could. She ran away to alert her owner of a ghost. I doubt that Lin would consider that a ghost might've just robbed him. I shrugged and poofed myself back into the other empty apartment. When I arrived, the two cousins were already on the street. They were running as fast as they could.

They finally slowed down after a few blocks. "What did you find?" Vanessa folded her arms over her chest. Yessica caught her breath, "This." She pulled out of her pocket, some flash drives. "A few flash drives? What good will that do?" Yessica shook her head, "These have copies of special information. You said that something was off with Lin, maybe whatever is on these drives, could give us more information." Vanessa seemed and looked unimpressed. Like she had room to talk, we just robbed a famous person's home, and got away safely. Talk about impressive skills.

Yessica slouched over her laptop. She spent almost two hours looking over what could be in those drives. "Ugh! Most of them have just lyrics or drafts, nothing really important." She connected the next drive. "Huh, this is new." Vanessa and I crowded behind her. "What is it?" Vanessa gently moved her to get a better view. "Hospital visits? why would he need to be checked in?" "Maybe his son?" Yessica shook her head at my comment. "Look at the dates, way too early in time. Sebastian wasn't born at the time." She took out a pencil and a notebook. She started to write down the dates. "2008..In The Heights? Maybe something had happened during that time?" Vanessa and I looked at each other. "Look, there's a huge space between dates. Nothing happened.." She trailed off, rereading the dates. "Everything looks normal up until 2009, then only one date. Everything starts to slow in 2010."

Vanessa stared out the window. It was clear that we were bored. "Aha!" Yessica called out. We rushed over, "What did you find Yessi?" Vanessa asked. Yessica grinned, "There was nothing after In The Heights after 2009. Only one appointment, that means that whoever he was seeing had a breakthrough." I raised my eyebrow. "A breakthrough?" She nodded, "We just need to know who he was seeing for these appointments."

Vanessa had forced Yessica to take a break the next day. She had spent the night writing connections as to what our local Lin-Manuel was up to in earlier years. Yessica read through the dates once more, while eating some nachos. She paused, sitting up straight. "V how far is this place?" She pointed to the address on the screen. "A train ride away and a few blocks, why?" Yessica wrote down the address, "No reason, but, I think I may have found my new lead."

"He was seeing a therapist?" Yessica nodded, "Sort of. Whatever breakthrough was made, it was made here." Vanessa sighed, "Well, time for Jude to go invisible and for us to go inside." Yessica nodded in agreement. I vanished, taking no time in going inside. It looked like any old building. People were walking around. I looked through the names listed on the different floors. None were actual therapists, except one who was a child psychologist. I frowned, whoever Lin was visiting, they didn't work here anymore.

"What? You mean we came all this way for nothing?!" Yessica stared at the building in concentration. "No, but, Jude is right, whoever used to work here, left. But, why? Was it after Lin stopped visiting them?" I could see the metaphorical light bulb turn on in Yessica's head. "Vanessa, you and Jude have to go back and get more flash drives. Return the ones that aren't connected to the computer." Vanessa nodded, "But, what about you, prima? What's your plan?" Yessica grinned, "I'm going to find out what happened to that person and where they are now?"

(ooo mystery! C: this took a bit of time to write up, but I'll hopefully be getting out Yessica tomorrow night)
