Suicidal Love

By Samantha Ford

"Loving you is the most exquisite form of self destruction"

There is something about your love that keeps me coming back.
The way you shout my name and the way I scratch your back, there is something destructive about the way we act.
"I love you" is only said when you're leaving but the reply I get is never soothing. Your folded fist often greets my face but your "I'm sorry, I love you" easily takes its place.
Something so sweet exists in your love and that something is stained in me, your pure, sweet, raw lover is all I want to be. My tongue bruises from the cruel words I say and my ears bleed when you tell me you cannot stay.
Something about the beautiful way you destroy my happiness, loving me, then leaving me without your caress. Our bodies are like magnets attracted to each other, but our minds are like poisons killing one another and our hearts, they're like a singer and his dreams always chasing one another and with all of this we still ended up together.
But what is this something I'm addicted to?
That something is that you're my soulmate, my true love, honey you're the one, I don't understand why loving you so much can be so wrong. The noises from our beautiful, crazy, evil love is my all time favourite song.

But baby..... Until the day we kill each other our love will remain number one.
