Kaylee's POV
I woke up and saw Jake wasn't beside me. I groaned and rubbed my face.
"Jake?" I asked. No answer. I sat up and saw a piece of paper sitting on the nightstand. I grabbed it and saw it was a note from Jake.
Kaylee,
I had to go home and help my mom unpack. Sorry I left without saying bye. But we need to talk so call me or text me when you get up, it's important. I hope you're not mad at me for leaving without saying bye.

I picked my phone up and dialed his number and put my phone to my ear and it rang for about a good three rings before he answered.
"Hello?" He asked into the phone.
"Hey, it's Kaylee." I said.
"Oh, hey, it seems like you got my note." He said and sounded sad?
"Yeah, I did. Now what did you need to talk about?" I asked making a pot of coffee. He sighed.
"In about a week me and the guys are moving to LA." He said.
"Oh." I said and just stood there.
"Kay, I'm sorry." He said. I just hung up. I couldn't deal with it. I need to distance myself from him. I put my phone on silence and I drank a cup of coffee. When I decided to check my phone, I had so many missed calls from Jake and texts. I read them all but one caught my eye.
Jake:
I wish I could take you with me.
Kaylee:
It's expensive to move out there. Even now I have to find somewhere cheap since Hailey moved to Colorado. This house is expensive.
Jake:
How much do you make on your videos?
Kaylee:
Not even sure. I just get a check for videos. I mean I have been saving up money.
Jake:
How much exactly?
Kaylee:
I have about 3,000 saved. I think.
Jake:
Move with us.
Kaylee:
I have to think about it.
Jake:
You'd have 2 days to decide. We may have a week but the guys gotta know.
Kaylee:
Can we all meet?
Jake:
Since it's gonna be raining, we're all gonna be at Manfs. Come over here.
Kaylee:
Okay. Just send me the address. I'm going to get changed and all that.
I went and took a quick shower and changed into a pair of underwear and a matching bra. I had to look for clothes. I found an outfit and put on a pair of blue ripped skinny jeans, a KISS tank top, a pair of vans and a hoodie. I tied my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my bag, keys, phone and camera. I turned it on and started recording myself.
"Hey, what's up, everybody? So, I'm about to leave to Manfs place and talk with the guys. I won't record that for certain reasons. Anyways, let's get going." I said and walked downstairs and out of the house. I locked the door and got in my car and started it and buckled it up and set the camera on the dashboard. "A lot of you are gonna ask me about Hailey. She moved back to Colorado. Now, let's get going to Manfs." I said and started driving. When I got to a red light there was a guy on the corner playing a guitar and I grabbed my camera and turned it so it's recording him. "I respect what these guys do." I said. "They're out there for hours on end to make money to provide for their families." I said and turned it back on me and set the camera on the dashboard again and started driving to Manfs. When I got there, I parked and got out and grabbed my stuff and shut the door and turned the camera on myself. "Okay, so I just got to Manfs place." I said and started to walk up the stairs. "Damn, Mikey. So many stairs." I giggled and got to his apartment and I turned the screen so it was recording the other side and I knocked. The door opened and I saw Jake.
"Hey, beautiful." He said.
"Hey." I said and we hugged. We walked inside and he shut the door and I was still filming. All the guys were in the living room and I hugged them. I turned my camera off and put it on the table. Jake sat on the couch that fits like two people and he pulled me down beside him.
"So, I see Jake told you about us leaving to LA soon." Mikey said.
"Yeah." I said quietly.
"He also said that you want to leave your house." He said. I nodded. "Well we all talked it over, we'd be cool if you stayed with us." He smiled which caused me to smile.
"You guys are awesome." I said.
"We know." He said. I hugged him and pulled away. "So, you better get a packing." He said. I nodded.
"Also, we're driving there. We're getting like maybe two U-Hauls." Gavin said.
"My truck is big enough for my stuff." I said. He nodded.
"I'll ride with you." Jake said. I nodded. "But my stuff will be packed with Mikey's." He said. I nodded and yawned. My phone started ringing and I saw it was Hailey. I hit decline.
"Okay, I'm hungry. I wanna grub." I said causing them to laugh.
"Let's head out to Seaside or go to Applebee's." Mikey said.
"Aren't y'all banned from Applebee's though?" I asked.
"One in particular we aren't." He said. I nodded. "But wait, serious question. Are you gonna move in with us?" He asked.
"Duh." I said.
"Faxx." He said. I shook my head. "So, me and Gavin can ride in my car. You and Jake in your truck?" He suggested.
"I'm down with that." I said. He went to go change. I leaned on Jake's shoulder and waited for Mikey. I really like Jake, but does he like me? He has yet to ask me to be his girlfriend. The world may never know.
