Aaye ho is jahan mei to maqsad bhi koi hoga
Jo saans chal rahi hai to matlab bhi koi hoga
Kuch to wajha bhi hogi in qaa'idon ke peeche
Ya besabab hai chalta kar'waan zindagi ka?
Jo doulat hai tera maqsad to khoob tum kamao
Phir aish karke usko din raat tum udaao
Aayegi mout ik din sab chord kar hai jana
Kya bas yahi tha tera armaan zindagi ka?
Jo chahte hou shohrat aur haasil bhi tumne karli
Logon ke dil mein ghar karke saari khushi b bharli
Tum jo gaye jahan se kho jaegi ye shohrat
Kya chand din ki shohrat, tha saman zindagi ka?
Kuch log is jahan mein hain zulmo sitam k maare
Ghurbat-o-muflisi se hain jo zindagi ko haare
Aayi jab mout unko tab dard hi mila hai
Kya dukh-o-bebasi tha farmaan zindagi ka?
Jisne tumhe banaya woh Malik hai is jahan ka
Yun hi nahi banata wo silsilaa sama ka
Ek khaas hi wajha hai har aik shai ke peeche
Kya bewajha diya hai ye in'aam zindagi ka?
Aaye yahan pe kyun ho, kyun hai yaha se jana
Kya asal zindagi hai, kese hai usko paana
Socho kabhi to Aiman tum bhi jawab inke
Tab hi to paa sakoge un'waan zindagi ka!!!
