I see her running to me. 'So beautiful' I thought. Then I see a silhouette. It looks like it's holding a gun, aiming at her. As I realize what it is going to do, I sprint , sprint to her, with hope of saving her, even though she is too far away. 'With everything that has happened I don't want to lose her. Please!' I shout from the inside to the universe.
*BANG*
The silhouette shoots and the bullet goes through her heart. She falls. Almost in slow motion. 'Why?' I thought to myself.
I finally reach her. I hold her in my arms, with tears streaming down my cheeks falling to her face, then she says, "It's okay, I'm here."
It didn't make sense to me at all. "It's useless if you're not really here!"
She smiles at me. Why? Then she slips away.

What was that? It seems like I was daydreaming.
"Hey, are you alright?" Chloe, my assistant, asks.
"Uh, yeah. Why?"
"You're...."
I realize that there were tears in my eyes. Why? Oh, yeah, the dream.
"Sorry about that. I had a dream." I wipe my tears from my face.
"But you were awake."
"Dayyyyydream." I say sarcastically.
"Makes sense. That was weird though, you were just staring at your work, then, you started crying." She laughs.
I laugh too, then, I went back to my work.
I've been working on this project for years now and nothing is going well. It's just, nothing makes sense. Yes, we do know how to do it, but, there's just one variable missing. What is it?
Gotta think.
Gotta think.
Gotta think.
I hear a whizzing. Like something's falling. "Chloe, could you please be quiet? I'm trying to concentrate here." I can still hear it.
"Chloe?" Still there.
"Chloe!" I turn my head to face her, then, I see what was making that sound. Just outside the window was a huge rock. A meteorite. Chloe was just there, shocked, not knowing what to do. Knowing that there was no time, I pick her up and run as fast as I can to the exit.
She makes it.
I don't.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wake up. I'm on a metal bed. I think. It's cold and I can't seem to be able to move my head. How am I alive? I try to remember what has happened, but I can't remember anything. Anything from the time I saved Chloe, which I think I did, to the time I ended up here.
A person comes into my room. From my peripheral vision, I can tell that he is wearing a white -uh- coat? A doctor? No. He comes closer. I can see him better now. My father. What is he doing here? He places a camcorder across the room from where I am and starts recording.
"Starting observations and tests number 42. I have been observing patient S and taking notes on the suit's effect on his body and have noticed that, in order for the suit to be used to it's full potential, the subject should be, uh, how do I say this ... conscious. The Mustiallanatos, or the Manatos, only responds to a conscious thought, or thoughts..."
Suit? What suit? Wait, don't tell me. I'M IN A SUIT? What kind of suit? DAD! Can't you see me awake!?
I panic.
"...responds...thoughts..." That's it!
Human Form. I transform and Dad notices.
"...and nothing seems to - what the hell, he's awake. Son, can you hear me?"
I try to speak.
No words come out.
Yes I can.
"Yes I can."
