I got a call this morning saying that my mum and dad were coming home tomorrow!
I bursted into Daniels room with the good news,
"Dani!! Mum and dad are coming home tomorrow!" I say jumping on his bed, causing him to wake up,
"Wait really?!" Daniel and I never really saw our parents when we were little. We would always stay with our auntie but now that we were older they let us stay by ourselves.
Before my parents started travelling everywhere, we were a really close family. Game night. Movies. Family dinners. We were the dream family everyone wanted to be.
When my parents were teenagers they were the high school and college sweethearts.
"We should plan something!" Daniel says getting out of bed and putting a shirt on,
"What if we invite over g-ma,
g-pa, auntie Caty and uncle Chris!" I suggest and Daniel nods in agreement.
"Do you want a ride to school?"
"Sure.. I'll text Jasmine and Elena if they wanna come too.." I say taking out my phone,

7:57 Jasmine: sure!✨

"They said yes.." I say to Daniel
"OK.. grab an apple, we need to leave now.. I want to go to the shop.." Daniel says running downstairs,
"OK?" I say giggling. I walk downstairs, passing the island and grabbing an apple before walking into the garage.
I look out of the window and I see Elliot walking on the sidewalk, with a girl by his side.
"OK, do you want anything?" Daniel asks parking the car,
"Um, no thanks.." Daniel nods and walks out of the car, and heads inside the shop.
I look out the window and I see Jack Walker. He looks over at me, and then looks away with a sad look on his face. What I don't realise is that Tessa isn't by his side.
That's when I make a stupid move.
I open the door, and I get out.
Running.
Towards Jack Walker.
