Alone Time With Jack..

After school I had netball practice, so when it was finished I had to walk home by myself. Jack had rugby training, so when I walked past the rugby field, we decided to walk together to my house where the rest of the boys will meet us. 

"Do you mind if we stop by the shop first? I'm really in need of some food right now.." Jack asks laughing

"Haha.. Yeah, I don't mind.." We turn a corner and we arrive at the shop. Jack walks inside and I follow behind.
"What are you getting??" I ask Jack as I look for gum
"Maybe just some chips.." He grabs a bag of sour cream and onion chips and brings them to the counter
"Did you find what you were looking for??" Jack asks me
"Yep.." I grab some Extra gum and I line up behind Jack pulling out my wallet
"Pass it here, I'll pay.." He puts his hand out
"N-no, it's fine.." I say my cheeks turning pink
"I insist.."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure.." I hand him the gum and he pays for it.
"Here.."He hands me back my gum and we start walking to my house. Jack opens up the packet of chips eating some
"Want some??" He probably saw me staring at the chips
"Um, sure.." I put my hand in the packet and grab one chip
"Oh come on... get a handful.. I insist." He pushes the packet closer to me
"No I'm fine.." I push the bag away
"You sure?" Jack asks
"I'm sure.." I eat my one chip and we keep walking.

We finally arrived and it's just me and Jack home (because my parents are taking care of my grandparents and after they have a long business trip) so I go upstairs to do some homework while Jack is in Daniels room playing on his Xbox.
"JACK!" I yell from across the hall
"What?!" Jack yells back
"Come here! Please??" Jack comes in moments after
"What is it?!" He has a bat in his hand
"Um.. why do you have a bat??" He looks at his hand
"Oh.. I thought there was someone in your room..." his cheeks turn slightly red, I think it's cute.
"Haha.. nope.. I just needed help with these maths questions.." I show him the questions and we work on them. Jack is actually really good at maths, he's in the same maths class as Dani so it's understandable.
"And 10×3 is 30.." Jack says writing it down
"So.. the answer would be... 243!" I feel more comfortable with Jack now, especially since he's not as 'bad ass' as I thought.
"Yep!.." I write down the answer
"OK... thanks Jack" I hug him without knowing and he surprisingly, hugged back😏.
"No problem, anything else you need help with??" Jack asks letting go of our hug
"Nope.."
"OK.." He walks out and goes downstairs, probably to get a drink. I hear the front door open, it's probably just the rest of the boys. I go downstairs to greet them,
"Hey guys.." I say waving to them
"Heyy!!" The say back to me
"Where's Dani?" Corbyn asks. He holding someone's hand, I look up and realise it's Caitlin Bowa from our school. Caitlin is very pretty, but she isn't who you think she is. She's not mean, or obnoxious, she's sctually really smart, sporty, pretty, she's the ideal girl. She's very open, and overall, she's very humble.
"Hey Caitlin!!" I give her a hug and she hugs me back
"Oh? You know each other?" Corbyn asks
"YESS! We've know each other since primary school! Right caity?" She looks at me
"Yep! We were best friends!" Caitlin and I sit on the couch catching up on what we've missed
"Since when did you move back in here?" I ask her, Caitlin moved away the day of her 7th birthday, because her parents thought it would be 'a good birthday present' but she was devastated. I never knew she moved back though!
"2 weeks ago, but I started school last week Wednesday.." We continue talking as the boys play some of their songs down in the basement.
The front door opens and Caitlin and I get a fright. We laugh it off😂
"Hey, sorry did I scare you??" Daniel says coming inside
"Haha!! Yess.. Dani you remember Caitlin, right??" I ask Daniel
"YES of course!! You came over to our house like everyday😂" Daniel hugs Caitlin, then he goes down to the basement.
