Kazemaru's POV

"What do you mean Takagawa?" I asked, severely confused.

"I started the fight," she restated, "I insulted Matatagi, he insulted me back, and Ranmaru got mad and hit him. It's my fault," She cast a glance towards Kirino, almost as if she was daring him to say something else. Kirino lowered his gaze toward the ground and clenched his fists.

"And you Kirino?" I asked him. He looked up puzzled.

"Huh?"

"What really happened?" I asked him, seeing Endou cross his arms over his chest and gaze intently at Kirino.

"W-well, um" Kirino started, glancing at Takagawa again before looking at me, "It was-"

BOOM!

"Agh!" we all screamed as we fell. I dragged myself up with all my strength, my arm feeling numb. I pushed the feeling away, for now, and searched frantically for the team.

"Ugh..." I whipped my head around to hear Endou groan as he rose from the ground. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw everyone else rise up, groaning in pain.

"Is everyone okay?" I called out.

"Yeah, but- YOUR ARM!" Tenma screeched, his face as pale a piece of paper. I looked down at my arm to see a bloody gash on my forearm, it was 6 inches long and looked pretty deep.

"Huh," I thought, "That's why I couldn't feel my arm,"

"We should get that treated, Kazemaru-san," Kirino states, his face a little pale, but still ungiving of any hints that he was scared. Huh, training with Takagawa really -

"Where is Takagawa?!" I looked around worriedly until my gaze fell upon the cave entrance, now open. I dashed outside, ignoring the protests of the others behind me. During the time I stayed with Takagawa, I came to love her like a daughter. I have to find her! I stumbled into a clearing only to see... a soccer field? I remember Takagawa saying something about training and came to the conclusion that this is what she meant. I saw 14 figures standing there, and one of them had dark blue hair. I hid behind the log by my feet and listened in on their conversation.

"You really are an idiot," a male's voice rang out, "You allied yourself with that garbage, how pathetic,"

"The only one pathetic is you," Takagawa countered, "You attacked the poor children of this world when you said you would give us two months to prepare. Now you higher beings wouldn't stoop to such low means, right?"

"Tch," the same male's voice scoffed, "Fine, just remember, we will crush your team, and you will  join us," I heard a portal open and the group of 13 leaving through it, closing it behind them. I popped out of my hiding spot only to see Takagawa right in front of me.

"GAH!" I exclaimed as I flung myself away from her. I let out a hiss of pain as jarred my arm. Takagawa's eyes flared open as she immediately crouched down and grabbed a hold of my arm. Gently, thankfully. I stared at her as she observed the bloody mess of my arm, taking in the fact she was trying to focus on something else. "Can we do it?" I whispered to her. She didn't stop for even a moment, still completely focused on my arm.

"Of course we can," She answered, still not looking at me.

"I need a truthful answer," I told her pulling my arm out of her grasp, "No lying, or hoping. I need to know, can they learn the skills needed in the given time?" Takagawa was still, and I was worried I had gone over the line until she looked up. I held back a sigh as I noticed the uncertainty in her eyes.
