Heartless Sister

Leah's POV.

I was sitting on a couch in the train station when I heard Erica complaining.

"Erica, what's wrong?" I asked as she walked into the room.

"I just started my period, and I don't have anything." She says in a whisper.

"Come on with me." I say gently as I guide her out to my car. I reach into my back seat and pull out a bag. I reached into it and pulled out some tampons.

"You are a lifesaver." She says as she takes them from my hand.

As we went back into the train station, Derek was talking to the other betas about Jackson.

Erica and Isaac are suppose to go and get him, to test him. When they came back with him, he looked shocked as he saw me sitting with Derek and holding a piece of glass.

Derek then gives Jackson a speech about how he is a snake, and how snakes don't get poisoned by their own venom.

When Jackson was given the venom, he went paralyzed.

"You're still a snake, just not the one we're looking for." When Derek told Jackson that, I looked at Isaac and nodded.

Isaac wanted his name to be cleared and only Jackson could do that.

So Jackson did exactly that. The next day Isaac went to school with Erica, to test Lydia. When I got up I changed.

I watched as Derek and Boyd left, they would try to talk to Scott about the situation. I got a text from Derek later that evening.

'It's Lydia. Go to Scott's.' It was simple. I can't believe I am going to my old house. I almost didn't go.

When I got there, I noticed that Scott wasn't there yet. I got out of my car and walked over to Derek, Boyd, Isaac, and Erica.

"Nothing?" I asked.

"Nothing." Derek answered simply.

We sat there and waited, when Scott's scent hit me all of a sudden, I turned to Derek and he turned to me.

"He's here." I say to him.

Derek then makes Isaac and Erica infiltrate the house. I watched as Derek looked at them with worry. That's when I knew this isn't their first time fighting Scott.

"I should go." I say all of a sudden.

"Leah." Derek says in a warning voice.

"Derek."

"Fine."

I then run behind the house when I knew no or was looking.

"Why would my sister, Leah be out there with Derek? I think he bit her. I bet he bit her." I heard Scott making accusations, and how wrong he was.

"You're wrong." I say as I walk through the kitchen. All of the people right there with him look at me surprised.

"Then why are you helping them kill an innocent person?" Scott asks. I scoff.

"Innocent? A Kanima is not innocent! They kill for fun! They kill just to kill! Like Peter!" I yell, making my point very clear.

"Peter? How do you know about Peter? Like Derek would tell his betas such sensitive information."

"You think I'm his beta?"

"You have to be."

"How wrong you are. I'm an Alpha, I've been an Alpha since I disappeared." I say flashing my dark red eyes, the darker they are, the more people you've killed, mine are darker than blood.

"How many?" Scott asks in terror.

"So many." I say in a monotone voice.

"You're heartless." Allison says as she backs up.

"An Argent scared of a little Alpha?" I mock her, I see the terror in her eyes, she's never come up against a cold blooded killer.

"Leah." I hear Derek warn from outside. I smirk at my brother and his friends.

"I'm not heartless. I love Derek and his pack." I say as Isaac all of a sudden attacks. I watch as Erica and Allison both run up stairs. I then go out the back door and back to Derek.

"You're in so much trouble." Derek jokes with me, as he slings his arm around me.

"In his heartless sister." I say as I lean into him. That's when the door opens and Isaac and Erica are thrown outside. I feel rage.

I go to run forward, wolfed out, but Derek holds me in place.

I miss everything Derek says and what my brother says, but I focus on Erica and Isaac's breathing, that keeping me calm.

It all happens so quick, Lydia not being the Kanima and Jackson is. I look at Derek and nod. He runs after it. As Boyd goes to follow him, I grab his arm.

Boyd looks at me confused.

"I need help getting them back." I explain. He just nods, understanding. As we go to walk over to them, Allison raises her bow.

"Don't try me." I say flashing my eyes at her.

She backs off as we continue to go get the betas. I grab Erica and Boyd grabs Isaac, I put Erica in my car and Boyd puts Isaac in Derek's car. He gets in Derek's car and drives, and me doing the same thing to my car.

I was so pissed off at my brother, hurting the pack.

(So I sort of strayed away from my summary, I'm sorry, but I got so into what I was writing that I forgot the summary. Originally I wasn't going to have Scott know about his sister being back in Beacon Hills until the police station, but I needed to state how strong her connection to Derek's pack was, and I thought this scene would do nicely.)
