..Jimin..

My photoshoot that day went surprisingly well. Until the end when my manager and some others expressed to me how much they would like for me to work on something with another person. I am not against working with others but I have always been solo and I don't really know of anyone who I could work with. They gave me 2 months to find someone on my own or they would find someone for me. I now have some searching to do. They at first told me they wanted me to choose someone well known but later decided to make it even more challenging on me by telling me that it would be even better to find someone who is not at all known or has very little popularity. So now not only do they expect me to find someone to work with they also expect me to discover new talent.

With lots to think about, I made the decision to walk home to try and clear my mind. Equipping myself with some sunglasses, a mask and my friend (see first picture above) I headed out the door of the photoshoot set. My sunglasses and mask had the obvious importance of hiding my face to be recognized as little as possible, well my friend Hoseok had basically the same purpose. He made me look more casual as well as being backup in case I was recognized. I know I have previously stated that I have no friends and I still stick to that. I have known Hoseok my whole life and we used to be best friends growing up and while we are still close, our relationship has just not been the same since he confessed to me 2 years ago. We have slowly gown our separate ways since I have become more well known. My popularity is like a wall slowly growing between us, but I haven't lost him yet. He works with me but in a more private way, the cameras don't know him but he is behind a lot of me keeping organized. Times like these, walking home with him, makes me miss the older days when we were just two kids in high school who's dreams seemed way to far fetched.

About halfway through the walk we were joking around and my sunglasses fell off, it didn't end there though, not at all. In our laughing fit Hoseok stepped on my sunglasses snapping them in half and leaving them useless. It didn't take long after that for someone to recognize me and once one person did, they just started flooding in. When there was only a few fans I stopped and socialized a bit but when the really intense ones started in that's when I made a speedy escape. It was definitely a good thing I was only a couple blocks from the studio because that's where my feet took me. Hoseok knew how to handle those situations without seeming like he knew me personally, how he did it, I have no idea. Not only was he good at pretending he didn't know me and he was just a fan but he also was good at keeping them back while still keeping that act up. He probably was the person who has saved my life the most.

As I ran in the front doors to the studio everyone knew something was up. Immediately people were up fighting back a few of the fans who chased me all the way there. The staff there, including little miss Sarah, also often saved me. I could rely on them all. Sarah, because you know of course it had to be Sarah to get this job, took me back into the practice room until things were clear of someone showed up to assist me in my escape. She made small talk for a couple minutes until my phone rang and I politely shushed her to answer the loud ringing.

"Yes?" I spoke into my phone turning away from Sarah so she did not hear my conversation.

"Jimin-ah, sorry I forgot until now but could you make it back to the office tonight? I truly am sorry I didn't say something sooner I forgot that we had this appointment set up for you, please forgive me." The soft voice on the other side of my phone said, it was my managers assistant. She was almost like a second mother to me, she has always been so caring.

"What is the appointment for and what time do I have to be there? I will find a way to get back in time." I replied as nicely as I could. I could see Sarah staring at me trying to hear my conversation so I walked away even further from her.
