-Lance-
Lance walked with his head down as he made his way through the busy, rainy street. With his clothes soaking wet he unlocked his apartment door and walked inside with a sigh. He sat on the living room floor and grabbed his guitar. He sighed and started playing one of his favorite songs. 'Drowning shadows' by Sam Smith. "And I want to give in to the pressure
'Cause I feel like the city's got the better of me
Oh, this casual love isn't what it seems
And I try to imagine something closer
And somebody who is good for me
I'm so tired of all this searching
Do I, do I, do I, do I
Go home to nothing or stay out for more?
Give in to someone or lock down my door?
Or drown all my shadows, drown them like before?
Drowning shadows once more.." he couldn't finish as he started crying. He'd been left alone his whole life. No one cared about him anymore and he couldn't take it. The only person he had was an old friend Coran that he didn't talk to anymore. He sent Coran a text saying goodbye so someone knew what happened even though he wouldn't care, and ran to the stairs leading to the roof of the building.
All the way up he remembered everything that happened to him. His parents giving him fifty dollars and a backpack of clothes, kicking him out of the house; his music career going up in flames because the producer was homophobic and everyone he knew forgetting about him. He wiped away his tears as he stared down at the city below him. He pictured himself singing with his Grandmother in the afterlife as he threw himself off the building. Light flashed before his eyes as everything went dark.

This is probably one of my deepest stories that might hit a bit close to home but I hope you enjoy and please don't think that the way lance thought he could solve his problems is okay, I love you all just know that. And I will tell you that the story does get more positive so don't worry.<3 gabby
