Of Angels and Demons (Revamped)

Synopsis

     In this world, the existence of Demons and Angels are extremely common and well known, and because of this existence, humans as a whole have learned how to adapt to the existence of such creatures. On one half, Angels and Demons are more like wild animals. On the other, are the ones who have gone through the metamorphosis of "Humanization."
     Humanization is an evolutionary ability most common in these beings that allows them to obtain not only human motor skills and speech, but also the ability to transform into one entirely. On the outside, they look like an average human. But their biology are completely different from each other. For demons, they have a natural muscle density that strengthens them and allow them to pick up heavier objects, enhance their reflexes, and able to withstand more damage. For angels, they have hollow bones for ease with flight, hidden folds in their bodies to conceal their wings, and a special pair of muscular strands from their wings to their torso.
     One of the most common traits in them is their ability to regenerate. Regeneration in Angels and Demons are possible by rapid cellular mitosis, which replicate the injury in a matter of a few minutes. There are 5 levels of this regeneration, the higher the level the faster and more effective the regenerative abilities. The majority are only on level 3, which can slowly regenerate missing limbs but unable to replicate the cells necessary for organs in the torso and the head itself.
     Now, you're probably wondering on where powers take a place in such a world. Well, powers in not only in Demons and Angels, but humans as well, come from the soul. The soul is the electric pulse in the heart on a larger scale. It is a form of energy that can materialize and be manipulated with sheer training of the mind and body. It's detectable by special energy waves that the soul produces, and can be trained to come out as form of power. For Demons and Angels this is basic, but for Humans it's quite a specialty. About 70% of the worlds population are able to use such unique abilities, and the practice is referred to as "Exorcism."
     Exorcism isn't typically just for flashy performances and showing off. These abilities are quite handy, because Angels and Demons in the wild can become quite dangerous. Thus turning them "Feral." Feral versions of these beasts can cause quite the havoc, like a wild wolf loose in a suburban area. Luckily, an organization called the National Exorcist Association are the type required to handle such beasts.
     The National Exorcist Association, or NEA for short, are a group of exorcists, human demons and angels that can hunt down and kill these feral beasts as effective as they can. These brave exorcists risk their lives on a daily basis to protect loved ones, citizens or towns. The best of the best become S class, the top of the exorcists.
     Now enough of the NEA, you're probably wondering something. 'Can there be hybrids of Demons and Angels?' Yes there can. These hybrids are often called "Reapers", for their physical prowess and abilities. However, they're considered a minority, for their physiology can become quite difficult for them to survive, even sometimes producing newborns. Reapers only make up 18% of the worlds population, while Angels and Demons 57%.
     This story is of a young man named Allen Knight, who himself is a Reaper. His story, well... I'll let you read it.
