Alex POV-
Alex was sitting on the floor with John. They weren't very close, but this still made Alex blush a bit. He couldn't stop glancing at John. The freckles on that boy amazed Alex. There must have been thousands! He just smiled a bit and leaned back on the couch. Mean Girls continued playing. This was one of three movies he's ever seen in his life. Alex remembered all the work he had to do. 'I can do it later tonight.' He thought.

TIME SKIP

It was around midnight when John and Hercules had left the dorm. Alex needed to work on his essay for his writing class. He was on his laptop typing away, when a familiar french voice spoke. "Mon ami, take a break you've been on that thing since midnight. how much have you written?" Lafayette asked. "Well, the requirement is three pages, but i've written.." Alex took a second to see how many pages he's done. "I've done ten." He said. "My god, you need to.. how do you say, take a 'chilling pill'. Get off it before I take it from you." Lafayette said, obviously annoyed. Alex sighed in defeat. "Fine. But don't expect me to get off it so easily." He said in a mildly grumpy tone. Alex put his laptop on his desk and crawled into bed. He had to admit, being up till 3:26 am really was tiring. Eventually, Alex fell asleep.

John's POV:
John heard an annoying sound coming from his phone. For some reason, 'Baby' by Justin 🅱️eber was playing. Why did he still have that song? 'Mental note: delete that cursed song.' He thought sleepily. John slowly got up and looked around, remembering last night. He cuddled with Alex! The freckled boy smiled a bit, and walked to the kitchen to make breakfast. Despite it being 7:28 am, John was willing to make food. He got all the ingredients for a waffle, and started mixing them in. He stole his waffle maker from his house before he left to college. That was a great idea. John eventually made five waffles, and took one for himself. He started eating it when his phone buzzed.
Unknown Number- Hey John, its Alex!
John- sup m'dude
Alex- Please use actual grammar when texting me thank you.
John- k
Alex- I hate you.
John chuckled and put down his phone. He finished his waffles and put the plate away. He snatched his phone quickly to text Alex.
John- heeeeey wanna go get coffee?
Alex- You are a savior.
John walked over to Alex's dorm, and knocked quietly. He was greeted by a sleepy Alex, who had bags under his eyes. John smiled and grabbed Alex's hand and took him to the parking lot. They got into Johns car. "I hope you like Alternative music." John said and started his car, and 104.3 the shark played on the radio. (actual radio station i listen to). John singed-screamed the songs, and Alex just watched him in amusement. Eventually, they made it to the coffee shop without dying because of laughter.
