Sam stumble on his feet as he lifted a few barbels, there were some trainees around but some of them talked about him the rest of their workout hours as they knew about Cross-breed human trainee.
He didnt mind everyone at all as he saw tash came from the door and throws deadly stares at the trainees, "they live with gossips" she chuckled handing a bottled water to sam, "so steve left you in here because he needs to do some captain works in the control room"
"He told me about it, and now im gonna train my self, you know im a bit impressed with his skills, I want to have the skill he possess" he said sitting on the bench.
"You'll be like him" tash chuckled.
"Now tell me, why is he so serious, I didnt see him smile a bit since I arrived"
"He's just you know, trying to get over with something"
"Did he got a girlfriend?"
Tash laughed and stopped right away seeing sam's serious face, "actually he didnt have a girlfriend, a boyfriend do"
Sam's jaw dropped as a moment of silence settled between their conversation, "he's gay?"
"Yeah, well, I dont want to tell further about it but, yes he got a boyfriend"
"I respect that"
"By the way, you want to chill later?"
"Chill? Sure!"
"I'll fetch you in your room"
Tash winked and leaved the room, sam dried his sweats as he head back to his room to take a bath.
He left his cabin as he want to tour around the ship, it will take several earth days for an individual to finish a complete tour around, but he decided to go in the recreational sector.
Sam was pretty ammused when the lights of the ship turned into a bit dim as the giant digital clock turned to 6pm.
"Its great right? Your dad is really great" he turned around and saw dane smiling behind him with cotton candies.
"I didnt expect this" he smiled after grabbing the offered sweets.
"Thats why the trainees and crews in here feels like we were still in earth because of that digital clock and light moods" he smiled, "so how's your training?"
"Captain is really serious about it"
"Yeah he is"
"Do you know about his boyfriend?"
Dane wrenched sam's wrist, "minimize about that topic sam, no one knows about that, just me and the crew in the control cabin" he whispered.
"Ooohhh ok" he smiled pulling his wrist off.
A lady yelling his name from behind caught their attention and saw tash waving from a crowd of people, dane was being dragged with some army friends and tash came to bring sam in a bar.
"Oh I didnt expect him here" tash murmured.
Sam turned his head around and saw steve sitting along in a table.
"He do that sometimes, like having fun alone and drinking alone" tash said as they walk towards steve.
"Hey cap" sam tried to smile as steve's deathly glare hits him.
"Why are you guys here! You should be resting up, and you sam you need to rest up" he scolded.
The two didnt mind what he said and sitted infront of him, tash ordered two beers and peanuts for the night.
