Charybdis

*Jessi's P.O.V.*

       I rolled and picked up my card. It was a picture of water. I was confused for a second but then it hit me, "I have a fear of deep bark water because I can't swim," and just as I said this, the floor underneath us and we fell into a dark room full of water. I held onto Ash as tight as I could, "How is he expecting us to kill water?" Chase asked. "It is not the water you have to kill, it's what's IN the water that you have to kill," the Alp said from the sky, a whirlpool began and I started to cry on Ash's shoulder, scared for my life. I lost my grip on Ash and drowned as we went down the whirlpool.

*ASH'S P.O.V.*

I tried as hard as I could to swim for Jessi after she slipped out of my arms but I couldn't catch her. I saw teeth pop out of the water and realized what was swallowing us. Charybdis. A monster who drinks from the ocean three times a day to quench her thirst. We all almost died but luckily we got swept up in a weird, yet dry place inside the monster. As soon as I coughed up the water that was in me, I started yelling for my Jessi. "JESSI! JESSICA! JESS WHERE ARE YOU?!" I yelled as I look around. I saw the other three get up and walk toward me. They started to help me look. After about ten minutes they gave up, but I didn't. After another five, I was starting to go crazy.

       "I don't think she's still alive Ash," Tony said trying to hold back his tears. "YES, SHE IS! DON'T SAY SHIT LIKE THAT TONY!" I yelled as I pushed him, "Ash, he's right!" Kim added. "NO, HE'S NOT KIM! Our souls would've been taken by now if she was dead!" At that moment, we came across a city that kind of looked like Atlantis. As we got closer, I realized that there was a body laying on the floor in front of it. "JESSI!" I ran to her as quick as I could. I realized she was unconscious and not breathing so I gave her CPR. After about five minutes, she finally woke up and coughed up water. She looked at me, then started crying. I kissed her, then hugged her as tight as I could.

      After we had our little moment, we walked into the city. "We need to kill this thing and get out of here," I said. "Maybe it's brain is around here somewhere," Jessi added. "Yeah, because its brain is just gonna be sitting on the Atlantis throne," Chase said sarcastically. "Actually, it is," Tony said pointing to the throne room. I found a trident on the floor, so I used it to stab the monster's brain over and over again, angry for towards the monster for hurting my Jessi. Jessi eventually had to take the trident from me and gave me a hug. but this time, I'm the one who started crying, "I'm tired of you getting hurt, Jessi. I already lost my dad, I don't wanna lose you too." I said, sobbing into her chest. "I didn't know you felt that way. I'm sorry, I promise I'll be more careful," she said. "Awe, moment number two. How cute," the Alp said as the game board appeared next to us. "Kimberly, it is now your second turn."...
